SOURCE: LP690 projector displaying strange lines

to adjust those mirrors, you need to power down, unplug, remove the top, remove the wires from the main board, remove the main board, adjust one mirror, reinstall everything, power up, see whatever difference it made, power down and repeat until it's fixed. it's quite a chore. if that's not the problem, you'll need to replace the optical engine (which isn't cheap) because they don't sell individual parts.

SOURCE: Projector will display image, but it has vertical

This likely a conncetion problem between the main board and the light engine. The added weight could be making the connection complete. You could open the projector and remove the ballast, power input board, and shield to remove the main board and clean the part that connects it to the bottom of the rear of the engine and then reseat the connection, BUT, this is a major task if you don't know what you are doing and is best left to a tech or living with the weight being on the unit.

What causes white vertical lines on dlp projector?

Possible fault on the mother board as there are noise on the LCD display. You might need help to sort this out if the fault does not clear even after the lamp works for some times.

Projector will display image, but it has vertical lines running through the image. If a heavy object is placed on top of the projector, the lines disappear and will not come back.

I have an Infocus LP350. The image it displays has lines running through it, which consists of the text displayed, but offset and a bit jumpy. There are also some dark black lines on the right. How can I...

if you reset the settings to factory default and the text is still like that, you have a colorwheel issue and probably a dmd chip problem. as for the dark lines, if they are more of a shadow on the edge, the colorwheel is collapsing. if they are thin and definite, you may have a main board or dmd chip problem.

Vertical lines showing. it is an Optoma HD70

If the lines present in the menu when displayed this indicates device mounting troubles. Possibly loose in socket. If you change aspect of displayed image do the lines move, if they do, its an electronics problem, if they are constant, and nothing is displayed in the lines. Tighten device in socket, or seek professional service.

Vertical Lines on the projector screen

When the vertical lines are displaying, open the projectors menu (by pushing the "menu" button). If the vertical lines affect the menu, it's a problem with the controller board and will need to be repaired. If the menu is NOT affected, it's probably a loose or damaged cable (Cable part# SP-DVI-A-R).
