Netgear router login

To get into your router control center you need to go on your browser and in the url field (where you write the website) type either 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 cchances are if there was no password on it the login info will be defaulted to the following Username: admin Password: password After you get in its pretty straight forward from there however if you run into a snag dont hesitate to reach out for further help hope this helps! Have a good one

Just having the wireless router without connecting it to cable modem or DSL modem will not allow you to get onto the Internet. The wireless card in your computer/laptop will allow you to get onto the Internet at a free public WiFi hot spot location such as McDonalds, Star Bucks, at the airport.
Also the wireless card in your computer/laptop may allow you to connect into an unsecured wireless router from your neighbors, if their wireless router is within range of your computer/laptop but without their permission to use their Internet, it is considered stealing from your neighbor. They have a set download limit from their Internet Service Provider and by you connecting to their ISP you may cause them to exceed their download limit and they would be charged additional costs for every Mega byte over their limit.

Internet is very slow, latency is very high

Not the best gaming router out there would not use it for battlenet or war 3 to boot. I would get linksys gaming router by linksys. But to solve you problem you need to run your computer in dmz gamming mode also try any new firmware out there and see if that helps if not part with the netgear and get a linksys gameing router you be glad you did.

Netgear wgr614uk wep code

If you are the origional owner of the router, then you had set the WEP key, which is a password meant to prevent others from stealing your internet. If you still cant do it, Go to your routers configuration and restore it to factory settings. Then you can set your own WEP Tkip style passcode and connect the Wii wirelessly and correctly. For further help, just ask me.
