Question about Pioneer DEH-P5000UB Car CD/ MP3 Player
Pushed a wrong button and cant get the settings back to anything but muffled/base sound. It's horrible! Have been w/out stereo for weeks now. Can not figure it out with the manual or just trying different things. Is there a reset back to original audio settings?? Help! Please

SOURCE: Audio quit suddenly
Sounds Like your pr-amps are shot. You may have incorrectly wired the power lines up. If you are handy with a meter and check the middle legs of the pre-amps and see that you have continuity one way and none the other. If this isn't the case then they are shot or whatever ones dont pass this test. pop them out and order new ones. About $20.00

Don't spend a lot of money for a universal remote. Radio Shack has some good buys. I think you are the same person who is having problems with a 305. Get rid of it. You can make a quantum leap at Amazon for less than $200 for a Pioneer.

If this is a new hookup be sure this amp doesn't have pre-out/main-in jacks that may need to be bypassed. Otherwise, maybe look to see if any tape deck buttons are pushed. Good luck.

remove the face and there has been known to be a little button that is buried and looks flat using a pen or little screwdriver push the button in with unit turned on and hold until reset starts. if no button then disconnect power to the unit. either undo the pos battery cable for a couple of minutes and reconnect or unplug the back of the stereo for a min. and reconnect. hope this helps let me know.

Most TV has Audio Out RCA jack at rear and it gives same TV Sound as coming from its speakers.
Hook audio wire red white RCA pins at TV Out and plug these pins to TV/SAT input of receiver. Select TV/SAT input in receiver to get TV program sound coming out from TV.
Hope that info will help you.
