My scepter flat screen computer moniter keeps flashing on and off. It is hooked in correctly, however, even when the tower is off the screen flashes on, then to standby and then to just off. The whole time...

try to use the menu buttons of the display/screen to reset it to factory defaults and use the auto-adjust option if available. this often resolves common issues specific to the screen itself. it can help help to remove the power cord from the monitor then hold its power button for about 10 seconds to drain any power and test it again using another video cable. you may also want to observe if it flashes when not connected to the video cable and when plugged in to a different power outlet and cord.

Lenovo Y410 white screen

All that's left is the Video Cable, and LCD screen, Aberger.

Video Cable connections are tight? LCD screen side, screen Inverter, and motherboard side?

Then a continuity check with a multimeter set to OHMs, for each wire in the cable, or take to a 'Mom and Pop' computer store, and have the tech check it, or replace.

Video Cable checks out, connections check out, the LCD screen is the problem.

My money is on a bad LCD screen, JMHO.

Toshiba satelite pro red spot on screen

Sounds like your screen is going bad or your video card is bad. Try plugging an external monitor to the laptop to isolate the problem. Borrow a monitor from a neighbor, friend, relative or co-worker and plug it into the laptop. if the borrowed monitor displays without the red spot then your original monitor is bad. If the borrowed monitor shows the red spot then your video card inside the computer is bad.

Plug in an external monitor and see if the display shows up on it. It can be any kind of monitor even the old big fat crt monitors as long as it has a vga cable to connect to your computer's vga port. If so that proves your video card is ok. The video will show on most systems when you reboot without you having to do anything. Some systems will require you to hit the FN (Function key) + F1 thru F12. Hold down the FN key then hit the correct key for displaying on the monitor (F1 thru F12). The correct key will normally have CRT/LCD on it or it will have the icon of a display.

Sound works fine , screen not working

This seems silly but check to be sure the video cable has not come apart & that they are in fact in the right spots. Also...you might want to try another cord. Could just be the video cord is defective. Be sure it is on the right input channel.

When i turn on my wii the Tv is unresponsive. The screen stays black.

Make sure your component cables are properly connected. That means the 3 cables on one end are attached to their colour-coordinated spots, and the connection on the other end is attached to you Wii. Make sure your TV is on, the Wii is on, and your TV is on the right "input". You can get to different inputs by going into your TVs menu.

If all this is done and your Wii still isn't showing anything, then switch to a new TV to see if it will work there. If it doesn't, then it's likely your Wii's component cords are damaged. You can find new ones in almost any large store. Just make sure you're getting the correct ones.

RCA F31671SE Turns on nothing else.

Do you have sound with the blank screen? Some RCA sets had a screwy design problem where an s-video signal wouldn't show up unless you had a cable plugged into the normal video connector as well, so you might give that a try (that is, plug in both regular and s-video cables from the source, then select the s-video input). The broken-off cable connector is repairable (replacement connectors are available) but it means soldering both large and small connections in tight spots, so it might be worth calling a service technician if you are planning to keep the set.
