Update the bios from hp.com Software and Driver section.
If the issue persists then the laptop requires a repair.

My computer will suddenly sound like an airplane taking off when I am using it and even when I am not. Had cooling fan replaced seemed ok for a day then started in again. Also it seems to freeze up alot...

You probably have more than one fan, replace the one making the noise. Also CD/DVD roms can make this sound when they are going bad, but only if a disc is in them. Usually its just a fan.

I have a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT LT with a 5.3, The cooling fan is constantly running, no codes, the relay and fuse are good, what else could it be?

Need to replace your fan clutch. It's constantly engaged, sounding like an airplane. Common problem for Trailblazers and Envoys.

I have an hp keyboard and the volume will not go up there is no sound i think it has to do with programs i just deleted.

Hi sony_negron,, do a "System Restore."
Click on the "Start Button," paul7of9_50.jpg from the Desktop.

Next, click on "All Programs," scroll to find "Accessories."

paul7of9_119.jpg "Open the "System Tools." "

Choose, System Restore."

A 'scan will start to look for, "Last known time of a change in the Computer.

paul7of9_52.jpg ie: "Deleted Program."

Important!: The System restore can take a 1/2 an hour to run!

Warning: Do not 'touch' the [Keyboard] for any reason."
Let the (Restore) run it's configurations.

Choose the Date closest to the time of the 'occurrence'.

paul7of9_120.jpg Now, click on the [Next Button].
paul7of9_121.jpg "There will be a message,
"Not to do anything with the Computer."
The computer will then; "Shutdown and Restart."
"Lo-gin" if you have to; but!
!Attention: "Do not touch the Keyboard once the Desktop 'window' opens.
"Because the {System Restore}, will 'still be running.'
Wait! Until there is a message:
"Restore of the system was successful!

"Please let me know if you 'need' further assistance; by posting a "Comment 'or' Rating the Solution." Thanks, your 'response' is important!" paul7of9

Desktop computer fan runs constantly

Hi,

Desktop fans do run constantly, you cannot avoid this.

The reason they get loud is because there will be a build up of dust on the fan blades.

To rectify this problem turn off the computer and remove the power cord from the rear. Then you need to remove the side panel from the base unit to expose the motherboard.

You will see that inside the case it is full of dust. Look at the CPU fan (the fan on the motherboard) also take notice of any case fans too, they are at the back.

To clean the fans and the case you can use a clean dry paintbrush or compressed air.

Once the inside of the case is cleaned you will see a noticeable drop in noise.

Regards.

My HP Pavilion Entertainment PC's screen constantly freezes. Sometimes I can't click on anything, but the mouse still moves. Help!

If your notebook locks up or stops responding while using a program, close the stalled program to continue using other programs. Also, while closing the program, take note of which other programs are running at the same time.

Fan runs constantly

one reason that a CPU fan may be running constantly is that it may not be able to cool the cpu down. usually this could be due to dust or debri clogging the incoming or outgoing vents or even dust accumulated on the fan itself or the heatsink.
