Go to someone like vacsite.com with your machine details and they have all sorts of exploded parts diagrams. You may be able to see where it goes.

How do i remove the old hose assembly non my simplicity 7350 so i can install the new part? It seems to be locked in tight, do i break the tabs?

Are you just trying to put the hose into the cuff? If so, you just need to know that the cuff is threaded so the wire of the hose fits in the threads. If you're asking about the assembly at the top of the hose--I don't know. Probably you have to take the green shell apart and work from the inside. Good luck.

Carpet brush turning on and off during vacumming

If the problem is only with the brush, and the vacuum motor is working all the time, then the most likely cause is a poor connection between the upper and lower parts of the machine. As you will know, the two parts can be separated easily and (especially if you do that often) the two little flat pins that make the electrical contact can become damaged. So check the pins, and the sockets they fit in to. If they are not visibly damaged, good contact can sometimes be restored by VERY SLIGHTLY bending the pins.
If you are able to check for electrical continuity between the pins in the brush part, then do so. If your machine has done a lot of work it may be that the so-called "carbon brushes" in the motor are worn out and are no longer making good contact so will need to be changed.
I hope this is helpful. If you need more information just post a reply and I'll see what else I can do. Please remember to rate this response. Good luck!

How do I change the bag on a dirt devil model 103?

On the open end of the bag that slips onto the vacume, there is a cloth "tab" sticking up from the band. Take hold of this tab and lift up while easily pulling back until you see the band about half way off the vacume. Now, you can take hold of the band and pull the bag the rest of the way off. You will notice that there is a "rib" in the middle of the band on the side that faces the vacume. That rib fits into the groove where the band goes on the vacume. When you install the bag put the band on this groove and work the band on around the housing. You can center the "tab" anywhere, just place it where you can get to it easy. The other parts you need are on the internet, I found them all including that rubber plug called the "attachment port" plug. The p/n for the replacement part is 3-201744-601. The original p/n is 3-501744-601 but you'll be better looking for the replacement part number. Good luck!

I have a Electrolux , EL6988 Canister Vacum, howeveer the brushes and motor will not run when turned on. I have take the plates and cleaned around the brushes, but it will not come one. The vacum comes on...

Turn the brush unit upside down, so you can see the brush roller. Then, with the brush roller positioned nearest to you, you will find the reset button close to the rear edge, near the wheel that's on the right hand side as you look at it.
Good luck! I hope this works for you. I value your feedback. Please remember to rate this response.

Need to replace front vacume propeller

You will have to take most of the vacuum apart to replace your fan.
First; remove the handle assembly by pressing the button on the front of it near the base. Remove the bag unit by twisting the rear of the emptor away from the body, and remove the front nozzle assembly by rotating the belt removal part to the "off" position and flipping the latch at the top of the nozzle.

There's a screw on the very back above the self propel select, and one on the top of the plastic where the cord attaches, removal of these will let you remove the rear plastic piece. Then there will be two more screws above the main power switch, and two on the front of the housing under the headlight. Remove the power cord, and then you can lift the rear housing from the main body.
Now you can remove the screws from the front of the fan housing; I believe there are five. Make sure you keep track which screws came from which position, because they are all different sizes.
To remove the front of the fan housing, put a flat-head screwdriver in the gap at the top to the side of the headlight assembly and pry it apart.
To get the motor pulley off you'll want to grip the pulley with a pair of vice grips, and use a wrench to hold on to the motor shaft in the rear of the machine. Look at the shaft that runs to the rear from the armature, and you should be able to locate a flat section which will allow you to grip it with a wrench... I do not recall the exact size, but there is a standard one that fits it perfectly. The pulley can then be removed. Note that it is reverse-threaded. Keep in mind that you will need to replace all the little plastic washers and rubber gaskets and things that are on the shaft with the fan. They are usually included with the Kirby fan kit, but if not make sure you find some before attempting the repair.
Before reassembly, you'll want to apply a thin layer of adhesive around the edge of the fan housing, making sure you don't glue the safety switch on the front into place.

Reassembly is the reverse of disassembly.

Good luck.
