I purchased a BeverageAir commercial refrigerator and the fan won't run. What could the problem be?

CHECK THE THERMOSTAT WHETHER IS IT TO THE LOWEST CAUSING VERY LITTLE FREEZING. TAKE THE KNOB TO THE MAXIMUM AND THEN SEE WHETHER IT STARTED. IN CASE NO THEN CHECK THE WIRING OF THE FAN MIGHT BE SOME CONNECTION NOT IN PLACE

Frig wont cool fan not running freezer working

fan is not working thus u have very little cold air circulating into the fridge. check the fan with a multi meter for continuity? it may be out? When u say freezer working? is there an ice build up ? if so u may have a bad defrost terminator or defrost timer, which in turn blocks the fan from working due to ice build up?

I have TRUE freezer model number GDM-49F. the compressor start but the evaporator fan wont start what culd be the problem

Could be a number of things. It has a thermistor that sits on the evaporator to keep the fan off until it gets cold. It also has a switch above the door that switches the fan on when the door's closed. It could be a loose connection in the wiring, or, lastly, it could be a seized fan

Voltage to evaporator fan

Lots of things to look at. Let's get started.

Evap fans usually have some sort of fan delay, usually mechanical. These go bad fairly often. This could add resistance to the circuit.
You can have up to 1 Ohm of resistance through most mechanical t'stat devices. Anything over that, replace it. If you are getting 35 volts out of the board, it's probably the board. If you got voltage going in and not coming out, it's usually the board.
