If the arrow does not appear, it usually means that Windows did not detect a mouse. A quick and easy way to test this is to plug in a USB mouse from a desktop computer. If your arrow returns, that confirms Windows does not see your mouse. If this *is* the case, then go into the BIOS screen (F2? when booting) and look through the menus to make sure mouse is enabled. Also make sure to look for an option under "Dock" that says something like disable mouse when docked. If plugging in a USB mouse does not make the pointer re-appear, then you may have windows problems. I'd try easy things first, like re-installing the mouse driver for your laptop. This especially if you have a fancy driver for multi-finger gestures 8-). While you work on this, try the Tab and ALT-Tab keys to move the focus around on your desktop. The Start menu also springs up with the Windows key. Space and Enter are like clicking. ALT-Enter like right-clicking.

Dell is frozen on dell logo

Hello, It sounds like your software is corrupted or your hard drive is out. Either way try this first:For a notebook, press and hold the Fn key and then press the power button. This starts the pre-boot testing and will launch ePSA. In case you have a Desktop at the Dell logo screen tap the F12 key to enter One Time Boot Menu and use the arrow keys to highlight Diagnostics and press enter. Some Desktops do not have an F12 key, to access the boot options you have to press the <0> (zero) key at the Dell logo screen.

How can i use my web cam

Your Dell Latitude E6400 laptop comes with a built-in webcam at the top of the LCD screen. This camera can take still pictures and record video for use with video messaging.
