Question about Sony PlayStation 2 (PS2) Console
I am borrowing this ps2 from a friend but I'm really not sure how to open these games.
Depends which game your playing... Usually go under saved games and pick it.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

SOURCE: how do i fix my ps2 memory card
Hi Andrew555, You will see two screws or so that hold the memory card together. open the case of the memory card, The circuit board is probably slid back and not being held forward so that it inserts fully into the card reader on the PS2. Sometimes, the retianer that keep the memory Circuit board forward breaks, and you will have to use your ingenuity to figure a way to keep the circuit board pushed forward.

SOURCE: won't play PS3 games
I have a 60GB unit and it wont read any BD discs or games. I left my system on for about 1/2 hour and then it started to read the games. Ive done this twice now and it seems to work.

SOURCE: Corrupted Data
Okay what you want to do is make sure that the memorystick you have is actually a real one and not a fake. Meaning if you bought it at ebay or someplace else for what seemed like an outrageously low price then it might be a fake. Now if you paid for it at a wal-mart kmart or someplace like that there could have been a problem while you were saving the game the last time you played. What causes the memory stick pro duo to mess up data is basically the same thing as a computer if there was an abrupt turn off or if you turned it off while you were saving any game save. There might have been a chance that sometimes when you take off the memory stick while you have the psp on you might loose some data, though it never happened to me it happened to my best friends and all of his save data though his dowloaded games were not corrupted. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: my ps3 wont read cds
hmm...i had a similar problem, but my PS3 wouldn't play blu-ray discs. CDs and DVDs worked fine. I recommend calling Sony and coming to terms with the fact you might have to mail it off for a new system.

SOURCE: Memory Card Corrupted
you cannot save another file until you delete previous one.Corruption occurs if the memory card is removed from console or if you reset the game while saving or loading game remember this also happens when you are saving or loading game and electricity turns off.
