Red wire is live (battery) yellow wire live only when ignition is on, black wire is earth(car body) there should also be 4 pairs of wires green, white, grey and purple these are your speaker wires you'l notice with the pairs of same colour eg white one is solid colour one has a black stripe the solid colour goes to live + on your speaker the one with stripe goes to - on speaker, same goes for the rest of the pairs hope this helps

I a '83 camry, there are 2 seperate plugs that go into a factory radio.
One for Power/and front speakers, and the other for rear speakers.

Sounds as if you are missing part of the harness for the rear speakers (or it is shoved in the back of the dash unused by the previous install). If there is not an un-cut plug in the dash - your only course of action would be to run your own set of speaker wire to the rear.

See this picture... these are the plugs that should go into your factory radio....

Metra kit 71-1938 will go from your factory wiring directly into your factory radio.

The fuel filter is located in the pressure line that runs from the fuel tank to the engine, near to the fuel tank.
Keep the engine off for few hours before replacing the filter, to get rid of some pressure in the lines.

How hard would it be to put a different cd player in my 2003 Monte Carlo SS ??

It is very simple actually. What you will need is a face plate, an aftermarket wire harness and the skills to connect this wire harness to the new CD player harness, they are usually color coded so very simple. TO remove you stock CD player you will need to pry off the plastic surround then there are 4, 7mm bolts that will need to be taken out and the stock CD player will pull out. Unclip the wire harness and antenna

Can i change the front end on my 86 monte carlo ls to a ss???

I can't see it being a problem. SS was basically just an option on a platform for all Monte Carlos.Everything from an SS should bolt on or in, depending on how far you go with it. Hope this helps.
