SOURCE: I have a HP 7410, every time I print I get three error messages.

Perform a semi-full reset on the all-in-one by following the steps below
1
Take out the cartridges from the unit .
2
Make sure the unit is connected to the wall jack directly without any surge protector.
3
Unplug the power cord from the back of the unit ( without turning off the unit ) .
4
Now press the # and 6 key together , while holding these keys down plug in the power cord back into the unit .
5
Do not release the keys after a few seconds u will find the hp logo or bars moving across the screen .wait while the unit turns off.
6
after one minute turn on the prnter . it will go into alligment phase > let it finish .
7
after its done > try to make a copy .

8 Allow the all-in-one to re-initialize. This may take a minute or two.
9 If prompts appear in the all-in-one display to set the front panel language and country settings, perform the steps to set this information.

Let me know if this helps.
If it doesn't, I will research it further. If it does please rate it.

SOURCE: i have a hp desk jet 5440 i put i a new tricolor

Make sure that your buying a new Tricolor as the same and Geniune too.
Only solution to this is put it properly inside your printer.
At first sometimes New Cartridge are being initial & calibrate by your printer before it works.
Power Off first your printer and put the cartridge inside. If the problem still exist then put back again your old cartridge and identify what is the problem occur before you put a new cartridge on it.
Good luck!

SOURCE: hp officejet v40. new cartridge but missing blue when printing

Sounds like your cyan print head is clogged. You can try to get it flowing yourself by rubbing the print head with a wet paper towel. If you press the print head on a dry paper towel you should see three distinct lines of color. If you still don't see the cyan, try letting the print head rest on the wet paper towel on a surface that ink can be cleaned up from or one you don't care about staining. If the cyan still won't flow, you should go back to where you purchased it and return it for a new one.

I have a new HP TriColor Cartridge and my printer will not print anything except black. Also have a flashingterdrop light on left side. What is the cure?

Hi. it actually sounds like something is not contacting with the cartridge. remove the cartridge and inspect the contacts inside the printer, the ones that touch the front of the colour cartridge, for dry ink, dirt or dust, use a cotton bud dipped in boiling hot water to remove any ink on the contacts, make sure the printer is off before doing this any make sure no water is left inside when you switch it back on.
I hope this helpsRegards

The printer's black ink cartridge won't print without the Tri-color print cartridge

Most of the HP printers are designed to allow printing onlywhen all cartridges are installed and
have ink.
Install a new tri-color ink cartridge and printing will continue as usual.
My printer, which is HP, does the same thing as yours, until I replace the empty cartridge,
printing stops.

I just installed a new color cartridge for an HP 5650 Deskjet printer but it only prints in black. I'm printing from a MacBook, OS 10.6.6

Hi, Try printing whatever you were wanting to print but click the drop down arrow right next to the printer selection tab. Then you should see a drop down menu about halfway down the menu, click it and select print settings. You should see another drop down menu called color, just click it and change it from grayscale to color.
Hope this helps, Justin
