Deathadder Light blinking and mouse doesn't work

When I plugged in my Razer Deathadder 2013, the light in the mouse began to blink about once a second. The mouse will not work, and Synapse 2.0 will not detect the mouse. Any ideas? (Already tried the typical reinstall drivers, restart computer, etc.)

SOURCE: Razer Deathadder crashes computer

I think that cable of your razer is broken and some cables are shortcircuited, don't plug it in computer, you could ruin your motherboard. If you want your mouse working and have some technical skills, buy some usb cable with same plug as mouse have and replace it

SOURCE: Mouse stops functioning, but continues to light up.

The Death Adder page - death adder dot com - has updates and firm wear upgrades to download to you pc - run the update or upgrade and try the mouse then.

My Death Adder started double clicking when it wasn't supposed to and the Death Adder fix - didn't fix it so best of luck with it. Death Adder isn't well known for their support.

Just try updating to the latest firmware and drivers and if that still doesn't work, you should contact Razer's tech support

My Deathadder stop working....it just can't detect by the windows.

If you are on PC go to the "Device Manager" in the Control Panel.
Under USB or Mice see if its connected and/or has a problem. Usually driver issue. You can click uninstall then, unplug the mouse then plug it back in.

Deathadder left click problem

I've had DeathAdder for about 1 year and it started to do EXACTLY what previous people described, double-click instead of single, stops firing when I hold it in QuakeLive/Counter Strike (have to press it again, etc. etc.) windows cannot be dragged because it needs to be holding left drag, never had this before. same happens on MULTIPLE machines with this mouse, tried 2 diff laptops and desktop and even mac computer....so it's must be something with the mouse not OS/Computer

My razer deathadder gaming mouse will not work after doing an update to the mouse. I'm not quite sure if it was a windows update or a mouse update but it will not light up now, only the wheel lights up...

Try rolling back the driver within the device manager to the previous driver. then dont take any more microsoft driver updates for it. Microsoft updates are generic in nature and don't always work correctly with high performance accessories such as this.
