Trying to replace a radio in an Nissan Almera n16 (2003), I Is it possible to replace this radio, or because the dash radio/Air-con is all the one?

Look at the bezel around the radio. It just pops off. If it goes up around the instrument panel, look for screws around there. Under the bezel, there will be screws to remove.

How do you remove stock radio in 1998 nissan pathfinder?

Nissan is not real good at providing instructions for radio replacement. The only instructions in the service manual are for complete removal of the entire dash assembly. From what I can see from the illustrations, (as well as my personal experience with Nissans) there should be a couple of screws at the lower end of the center finish panel. (the part that goes around the radio and A/C - heater controls) After the screws are removed, pull out on the lower end of the panel and the rest of it should simply "snap" out of the dash panel. It is held in with clips. Once the center finish panel is removed you will see the screws that secure the radio.

How do you set the clock on a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder?

The buttons on the front (h) and (m) should take care of it. If the clock is not displaying anything but the radio and dash lights are OK then it is a dead clock. I offer a repair service and have removal instructions. Drop me a note if you have any questions, I'd be happy to assist.

I am tryin to remove the factory radio from a 2000 Nissan Altima and install an aftermarket radio. but i cant seem to figure out a way to get the trim panel around the radio and HVAC module out. And i can...

  • disconnect the negative battery cable from the Altima's battery.

  • 2

Pry up the trim panel surrounding the gear stick. The trip panel is held in place by plastic clips that will disengage when the panel is pried up. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry up the panel. The panel doesn't need to be completely removed, just pried up enough to reveal two Phillips screws along the bottom of the radio trim panel.

  • 3

Remove the two Phillips screws along the bottom edge of the radio trim panel, just above the gear stick. Remove the two Phillips screws from above the radio. Remove the ashtray.

  • 4

Pry the radio trim panel loose with your fingers or a flat-head screwdriver and remove it.

  • 5

Remove the four Phillips screws holding the radio in place. Set the screws aside for use later. Slide the radio forward and disconnect the wires from the back of the device.

  • 6

Slide the cage included with your new stereo into your dash adapter. Slide the stereo into the cage and dash adapter.

  • 7

Connect the wires from the dash to the back of your new stereo. All stereos have slightly different connections methods, so refer to the owner's manual accompanying your new stereo for the proper connection procedure.

  • 8

Slide the stereo and dash adapter into the dashboard. Use the previously removed Phillips screws to mount the stereo in place. Replace the radio trim panel and gear stick trim panel. Reconnect your battery.

  • If you are putting a aftermarket stero make sure you buy a stero harness that plugs into the cars harness, on the back side of the harness you just installed will have open wires to conet to your new stero. If you cut the wires from your car to try to splice it to the new raido it can cause problems with the electrical system includeing making the transmission shift or act funny. you can pick the harness at wall-mart, car auido, best buy, or any car auido place.

OK i just spent three hours with tha same problem really.
i removed casing around steering column done by removing 4 screws on the underside. the bottom half of the dash is also done up by a series of screws remove these also. Once bottom half of dash is removed there will be clips holding head unit in push these in and head unit should slide straight out. :)
