Question about Nordic Track Commercial 2150
I purchased my treadmill in late December 2013 and I have had issues with it since day one. The quick change incline on the console is not accurate. I can be at an incline of 3, press 1, and it will go up to 5 rather than down the two levels it needs to in order to get to 1. In addition, the pre programmed videos are made to change the incline as the terrain changes; however, it will take it up to 3 if thats what the program is telling it to do but when the program tells it to go down, it just goes up however many levels it should have went down.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Likely the cover of one of the motor brushes popped off. Unplug the machine before you pop it back in place, then try it again.
If that doesn't work, most likely it's the motor control board, or possibly the console, or finally just a loose connection behind the console.
But most likely, it's the motor brush cover. I've been seeing that alot with this model.

SOURCE: When I turn on the
First of all you need a Surge protector, you can get one from Nordictrack.com, it is on sale. Secondly, unplug the treadmill and leave it unplugged for at least 24 hours. Before you plug it back again, make sure you already have a surge protector on your outlet. Also make sure Trreadmill is the only load on this circuit. Plug it and try again. I had the same problem, and mine works this way. Some times, with dilrty power, the bit get set and the bottons stop working. Good Luck!

I had the SAME problem, several times, with my NordicTrack A2250 Treadmill.
Allow it to go fully up and then fully down several times, without turning it off. IT seems to "cycle" that way 3 times and then "reboots" itself and starts working normally, again.
I had to figure this out myself... none of the suggestions I read worked.
