I had the same problem trying to download a manual. They list it, but when you download you get an .exe file that goes nowhere. I'd contact customer care about that.
As for your no print problem, it sounds as though you are out of ink. Try cleaning the print head, gently, with plain water, using a lintless rag. If, when you print, you can hear the print head moving back and forth, as the paper comes out, your drivers and computer program is/are working okay. You can see what Canon software is on your machine by going to Windows Explorer (NOT Internet Explorer) and looking for Canon software. Go to "all programs" and look for Canon. You may have to look under C: program files. I hope this helps.

Is not simple if you don't the program. It find in www.support.xerox.com . When you install the driver , please connect the printer, TCP /IP must be static IP and not DHCP. Because the ip is change when the swicth is desconnect.

Installing lexmark x3430

These instructions are generic but they should work. Put the CD into the drive and if it autoruns, select install printer. If it does not autostart, naviogate to the CD in Windows Explorer and find the Setup command and double click it. When the program runs it should look for the printer, and if it tells you to turn the print on, turn it on. If the printer is already on, turn it off, wait a few seconds and turn it back on. Then the program should find the printer and install the drivers. Then windows will want to install the printer to its list. Then you should be able to print. If it wants a restart, then restart the printer.

This was posted earlier by an anonymous Fixya guest:

I HAVE FOUND A SOLUTION TO NOT BEING ABLE TO SCAN WITH ALL IN ONE CENTRE with VISTA!!!!!!!!!!!

hi guys, i have had the same problem, i have a p4350 all in one printer and when i updated to Vista i couldnt get my install cd to work...i downloaded the install file from lexmark website...cjr4300eng.exe and all worked except OCR and FAX...i emialed lexmark and they couldnt help.....but i tricked my computer and now everything works just fine.....this what you have to do......
Step 1 - uninstall all previous lexmark software
Step 2 - download the cjr4300eng.exe file from
http://downloads.lexmark.com/cgi-perl/downloads.cgi?ccs=229:1:0:479:0:0&searchLang=en&os_group=Windows%20Vista&target=
Step 3 - extract the file to c:\drivers\printer\4300 but do install the software, just cancel
Step 4 - once you've extracted, copy the OCR and FAX folders from the original INSTALL CD to the same directory c:\drivers\printer\4300 along with all files from the ROOT directory (autorun.inf, cdicon.ico, hidclass.sys etc) on the CD EXCEPT "setup.exe"
Step 5 - open setup.exe and wait for install, it should notify you twice of installation so be patient.....and WOLA you're done
Hope this helps guys....

Stylus Photo R320 "printer driver dealing with CD printing...

I had the same problem and was able to get my EPSON Stylus Photo R220 to print a CD using the following procedure. This should work for other Epson Photo printers as well.
1.     Open EPSON Print CD
2.     When CD is ready for printing do the following:
3.     Select Print from the File menu
4.     When “The EPSON printer driver dealing with CD printing is not installed” is displayed – click OK and select Manual Print
5.     Set Paper Size to A4 and click OK
6.     In Layout select Print Settings
7.     In Media Type select CD/DVD
8.     Then press Print

Brand new Brother MFC-685CW won't print via wireless

First, I would recommend NOT trying to manually install this printer by using the add printer wizard in windows and selecting the the port and drivers to use. I would use the install cd to set this all up, it makes setting up this printer MUCH easier. If you are unable to use the install cd then get the IP address for the printer from your router admin page then with the printer "installed" go into the printer properties, go into the port, add a port, and instead of using a printer name just type the IP address for the printer in. Also for any networked printer make sure you don't have a firewall blocking it (this would include making sure that if the printer requires a port opened in the router that all requests for that port are routed to the IP address of the printer).
