Question about PetSafe Outdoor Bark Deterrent For Dog
This collar has two probes that fit over the vocal cords of the dog, a button that activates the deterring sound when the dog barks can be set for Low, Med or Hi. A light on this equipment glows more on Hi, less on Low, indicating the strength of the signal that dog is receiving. The batteries check out as being still strong, the light does not come on. Is the collar sending the signal to the dog? Why is the light not activated? It would seem that the charge from batteries to light is not working. How can this situation be fixed. The barking dog drives me crazy! This collar has the number F158BN printed beside one of the probes. Another number is SBBCUS1. Hard to see as it is molded into the body.

If you are referring to
remote trainers' collar then please know that all remote trainers have the same
basic 3 components: Remote transmitter, Collar receiver and collar probes.
The transmitter sends a radio signal to the collar receiver. Then, the collar delivers the stimulation to the dog through the stainless steel collar probes. The probes are located on the dog's neck and must have direct contact with the dog's skin in order to properly function.
