No work quartz

This watch is kinetic, in that a moving rotor inside the watch powers a rechargeable battery that runs the quartz mechanism. You should not need to attempt to open the watch! It may be that the battery is flat (especially if it's not been worn for a while) - you can try swinging the watch back and forth to charge it (check online for charging instructions for Seiko or Pulsar kinetic watches). If that fails, take it to a reputable establishment for repair.

I need to get the back off my new ice watch to replace battery but I can't? Anyone know how please?

Waterproof or water resistant watches usually need a wrench to unscrew the back. I use a pair of 90 degree circlip pliers. A jeweller would remove the strap and fit the watch into a holder before using the wrench.

Few jewellers would guarantee the water resistance of a watch after fitting a new battery. If it is required a watch be returned to its original specification it must be returned to the manufacturer or an agent for battery fitting and pressure testing.

Some watches have a back that is pressed into place. Fairly easy to prise off but very difficult to replace without the tools. This type does not have the grooves a wrench fits into.

What battery goes to guess watch model number U11502G4 model?

if it needs a new battery you will be better off taking it with you to a shop that sells watch battery's as 90% of the time they will fit it for free too ( and if they open it to see which battery it needs and they dont have one then get the model number while its apart )

My Timex Indeglo watch does not have any means of opening the watch so I can replace the battery. It kept perfect time when it ran, but now it does not run at all. Is it supposed to be a disposable watch...

  • If you don't already know what size battery you need, you can find this information on the back plate of your watch. Once you have your replacement battery, you will need to open the back of the watch to gain access to the battery compartment. Depending on the watch, the back plate will either screw off or be attached by a few small screws. If attached with screws, you will need a set of precision screwdrivers such as a jewelry or eyeglass kit.

Inside the battery compartment, you will see the battery is held down by a clip. Carefully remove the clip and eject the battery. Insert the new battery and replace the clip. If the battery clamp indicates you should do so, quickly press the reset button twice. Then reattach the back of the watch. If the watch display remains off after replacing the battery, press all buttons at the same time to reset the display.

My skagen wrist watch has stopped .why?It has lifetime warranty

Your watch has lifetime warranty - not the battery. Battery should be replaced as soon as it goes flat. Do not leave flat battery in watch - it may leak and destroy the movement. Pop in your nearest watch repair shop and ask to replace battery. Rate me please.

How do you remove the back to replace the battery. Does the back unscrew or does it snap off.

if its flat with no notches then you can use a pocket knife or small flat blade and look for a notch underneath the case back, there is usually an indentation where the case remover can slip in . Then you have to carefully force the knife inside and wiggle it up and down till it pops off. Be very careful you can cut yourself doing this or even damage the watch by slipping the blade inside and ruining the movement.

If it has a screw back you would see notches on the back of the case going around the diameter usually 6 or so notches. There you would need a special watch opener tool that fits into those holes and would unscrew it.

I would recommend taking it to a fast fix or batteryplus for about 7 dollars you can have them replace it. That way you can prevent yourself from ruining your watch or hurting yourself.

if you do open the watch up be careful not to touch the copper coil if you scratch that you will ruin the movement and need that replaced. if its flat with no notches then you can use a pocket knife or small flat blade and look for a notch underneath the case back, there is usually an indentation where the case remover can slip in . I want to change out batteries

    Hello,
    1. Lay the watch upside down on top of a towel or cloth on a flat workspace. Use a small flat head screwdriver or blade to pry under the watch backing, then lift the backing from the watch. Slide the battery cover to the side to access and remove the battery.

2.Take the battery to any electronics store to purchase a replacement. Bringing the old battery will ensure you install the correct type of battery in your Fossil watch.

    3. Replace the battery and the battery cover. Apply pressure to the backing until it "pops" back into the watch.

    Battery replacement

    Hello,

do you mean you want to replace the battery for your watch?

This isn't a difficult task to carry out. Simply get a small flat screw driver, use the screw driver to open the back cover of the watch, then you will see the battery of your watch. Remove the battery and replace with a new batter, cover back the watch and that's all.

Note that you will apply force with the screw driver when you are trying to open the back cover of the watch.

    Good luck.

    Battery size Quartz Water50mresist

The most common battery sizes are 364 and 377 but the only way to really tell is to open the watch. Screw off backs take a special wrench. Pop off backs can usually be opened with a dull and smooth butter knife. Be careful not to damage the rubber or teflon seal that is under the back. If the seal is dirty you will need to gently clean it before replacing. If it is damaged, flat, or broken then you will need to replace it if you want your watch to be water resistant again. Also, I recommend as do most manufactures that you pressure test the watch to be sure it is sealed. This will need to be done by someone with the proper equipment.

To replace battery of pocket watch

My son has a Timex pocket watch-I just got the back off with a very tiny flat-head screwdriver- the niche or indent you're looking for is almost indiscernible; look very closely, the edge of the back barely deviates from where it meets the edge of the front piece. Looks more like a flaw than an intentional point of entry
