Hi it depending on what license you've got some are for one pc some are for more. Most likely your license can cover up to 3 pc's.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

McAfee is not worth installing. It gets in the way and slows everything down plus it is a real problem when you get issues with windows. I would and do, install Microsoft Essentials. It is free and seems to work well. Don't bother until you are on line as it requires updates. Don't forget to uninstal McAfee!!!!!

Got dell 948 will not respond to computer, did update mcafee??????

If you have the McAfee Total or Family protection, then it has a firewall which could be causing your problems. Temporarily disable the firewall in McAfee and if the printer then works, you know what your problem is. McAfee is usually pretty good about fixing issues like that in the next update. Otherwise, if you are a current subscriber, you have access to their technical support at

Good luck! :)

I need to load Mcafee onto a new computer

To avoid conflicts, you should uninstall any other security software you have now, either through its own uninstall or by going to the Control Panel "Add and Remove Programs".

Install the new software. Run its update program immediately if it didn't do it automatically during the install process.

There is a reason they are known as AOHell in the computer trade.
I know you have paid for McAfee but you are better off without it, McAfee will be a major drain on your system resources slowing your computer down.
Try and get your money back for McAfee and download the free version of AVG 8.0. This new version of AVG comes with lots of extra security enhancements not just antivirus.
You can download AVG 8.0 free here:

There are plenty of reasons not to install McAfee and if you are interested you can read about them here:
