Question about Canon Pixma MX410 All-In-One Printer
I do not have a power cord for my primax mx410 printer. I have the computer cable but not the power cord. It was given to me and I have no idea where the cord is. I have looked online but none of them look like the hook up.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Most USB printers do not include the cable, sorry. You can get a cable at Walmart or almost anywhere, just make sure it is a USB printer cable. It will have the aprox. 3/4" wide end to match the computer and a more square end with one side of the square having an angle on two edges so it can only be pluged in one way. Good Luck

this sounds like a virus any ways, make sure u have a very good antivirus, remove and reinstall the printer with the driver but first go to the printer delete all the printers installed manually i.e after uninstalling the printer and its still showing the printer at printer and faxes, then reinstall it.

This could be a problem with the port. If you have the printer attached to a USB hub, directly connect to the computer. Try connecting to a different USB port and test the current port with a known working device. Consider trying a new USB cable (minor damage could be a factor in signal loss).
I hope this helps.

The network setting for the scanner driver may be incorrect. Check the IP address of your scanner and then set the IP address on the scanner driver.
1- The steps of setting the IP address may differ depending on your operating system.
For XP operating system:
Click Start > Control Panel > Printers and Other Hardware > Scanners and Cameras.
For windows 7 operating system:
Start > Control Panel > ... View scanners and cameras.
2- Right click on the scanner icon for your machine and select Properties.
3- Click Network Setting tab and select Specify your machine by address.
4- Enter the IP Address you confirmed from the snanner menu or ask your network administrator and click OK.
Hope this helps.
