Why is there no picture,no sound?

Your tv is fine! The power supply has a short or defective component. I suspect its a transistor or capacitor(s) on the power supply. These are easily replaced. This may not fix the entire problem. Its possible that the inverter board has shorted or malfunctioned as well due to a domino like effect caused by a failed component on the power supply.
Worst case scenario the entire PS (Power Supply) needs to be replaced. The cost for PS are roughly $50 (but as much as $200) and easily replaced. My charge is $40 to replace a board.
Have it fixed by someone you trust. It shouldnt cost more than $100 and be good as new when repaired!

My karaoke unit produce a crackling sound on R-channel.When i check it, its not from the amplifier but from the unit itself. Can someone help me find the main board price and where to buy.The technician...

I really think it might be cheaper to replace the individual part that's gone then replace the main board. Since it is only on one channel you can use the other good channel to discover which part has gone by comparing voltage readings and using touch tests. It could be after all be simply a 20p resistor that has gone! The only time you might need to replace the entire board is if the fault is in a massive multi pin IC.

Canon 30D had bent CF pin - power light remains on: replace cf pin slot or cf pin slot AND motherboard??? Please help!!

As hobby photographer, and retired electronics engineer, I hope I can help you.
first, you virtually never find any fuse in a camera. Sometimes they build in a diode, to prevent damage when someone puts in a battery, the wrong way around, but most of the time you even can't put in a battery the wrong way around. If in your camera a pin from the CF connector caused a shortage in the camera, the connector should be replaced, but sometimes this shortage can cause extra damage, because voltages can come on places that can't handle this. A chip can die. Only to find out, when you replaced the connector and try to switch on the camera again. If you try to find some pictures of the inside of a DSLR, you can see that the "board" actually is a flat cable, with tiny chips connected. It is almost impossible to replace the components on that.
I know Canon certified repair centres, deliver good jobs and have original spare parts. But you always can ask what it will cost in advance and decide if you want to go on.
On the site ifixit dot com you can see how to repair a camera. I'm not sure your camera is opened there too, but you can get an idea how it looks inside.
Although a 30D still makes good pictures, perhaps you should consider to start saving up for a new one?

I have lowrance lms-335c and the power sock on the monitor has a few pins that have broken off. Do you know how to change out the socket?

The Unit is easy to dissassemble. If you know how to solder you can acquire replacement pins from radio shack and attempt to replace the pins. Another option would be to acquire entire parts unit off Ebay and swap out the entire socket. this would be something for someone with some soldering experience.

ARG7800WW - I get code F3 after replacing temperature sensor

It most likely is a fractured solder joint at the control board where the wires from the sensor plug in. A good magnifier will show it. A simple resolder of the damaged pin points usually solve the problem. It's best to have someone experienced do the repair or the entire board could be damaged.

The HDMI connector broke loose from its mounting inside the tv.

It is possible for the HDMI connector to be re-soldered back on. However as the pin connections are small & delicate it is possible that some of the pads on the board may have been damaged, if this is the case then a new board would be required.

Thin horizontal line across the entire TV screen

Hi, your correct it is collapsed vertically, you should have re-soldered it before it failed because now you may have to replace the IC but I would re-solder it first as this possibly will fix it, look for a small aluminum (silver colored) heatsink with a black 7-10 pin IC screwed onto the heatsink, flip the main board over and this IC will probably have 2-3 (or more) pins broken, re-solder with 60-40 tin/lead solder, you didn`t give make & model number so thats all the info I can give you, good luck, BMW Rider

You don't - you would have to replace the entire module unless you have an expensive smt station.
What you're describing is the logic main board and possibly the dmd board as well. Something we call a cascade failure. I'd strongly recommend you take it to a qualified shop and have them do the repair. I can assure you it won't be an easy task for the shop either...
