I am trying to cancel my membership. I was not told about any cancellation fee when I signed up. I was told all I had to do was to give one month's notice and that is what I am trying to do. Please

Ask for advice on the martin lewis website i.e. moneysavingexpert - but you could always phone your bank and just totally dis-allow any direct debt from that company or if your paying by paypal e-mail them for advice. The distance selling regulation comes into act when you purchase either online contracts or purchases.

    Thanks a lot. This is so ridiculous on lucilleroberts behalf. It is so easy to lure people into joining by telling them all sorts of things that in the end is not true. People should be able to cancel these no contract as they are told. Its a shame.

Canceling Your Account
  • Visit the Netflix home page and sign in. Go to the "Your Account" tab, which can be accessed via a drop-down menu to the right of the search bar in the upper right-hand corner of your home screen. Once on the "Your Account" page, you'll see a button that says "Cancel Membership" directly under "Membership and Billing," the first heading on the page. Click this button and follow the instructions to cancel your membership.
Implications of Canceling Your Membership

How can i cancel prime membership.... did not understand what it was


You don't say what your Prime Membership is for or how long ago you signed up for this...is it for your car where you pay a monthly fee to have routine maintenance done, such as rotating tires, changing your oil, checking your brakes, etc. at a discounted rate?

Go to the dealership or if you did this online, and provide them with a written letter stating you want to cancel this. They have to cancel, as long as you've notified them IN WRITING. It is your right as a consumer. There's no charge for this.

If they hassle you about this, tell them what you've said here...that you did not realize what it involved and want to cancel. Be firm. If they still give you a hard time, ask to speak to the dealership's manager or go higher...ask for the district manager's name and contact information.

You can also mention the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and see if that gives you results. Just mentioning this might prompt them to work with you. If not, then actually file a complaint with the BBB for your city/state and THEY will go back to the dealership to resolve this. No business that's reputable likes to have negative criticism leveled at them and will always work with you.

I might also add that going to your local TV station with a complaint about how the dealership has treated you may give you results too, but always use this as a LAST resort.

Is there a fee for signing up for Facebook and how do you cancel it, if you wish?


There is no fee for facebook. If there was any, then the membership wpould have been less that 25% of its present strength. You cant cancel membership once acquired. Just do not use it.
