I purchase two new blue carnival tumblers and paid for them. Suddenly they disappeared from my purchase history and I can't find them anywhere on eBay.

Hello Betty Woodaman,

You have (at least) two (2) very powerful
remedies available to get a FULL REFUND.

Transactions that "Suddenly disappeared"
with your money are not a SUPPORTED
transaction...

You need only look up your EMAIL transaction
confirmations... (on the date of sale)...

Click on the e-mail item and got to your
transaction HISTORY...

If no such entry can be traced ... you can
call (telephone) or CONTACT a resolution agent...
Have your item number ready...

How to file a dispute against the Seller using PayPal

Prepare all PayPal transaction info regarding your dispute, particularly the PayPal transaction ID. Note, this is ONLY for transactions made from PayPal's website, this is not applicable for all other payment transactions made over the internet.

Follow this simple steps in filing a claim / dispute against the seller from PayPal.

Click here and log in to file a dispute, if that didn't work, use this web address:

https://www.paypal.com/ca/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/Customer/customerservice/GXOLogin-outside&from=resolution_center&toResCtr=true&fileWhat=claim

After logging in, you should see this page:
19945b8.jpg

.. click on that yellow button saying "Dispute a Transaction". You will see this page after clicking that button:
2832e9a.jpg

.. select item dispute and click the yellow button saying "Continue".
After that, you'll be taken to this page:

c268c54.jpg

If you have the transaction ID prepared, type it on the box provided, if not, you can search for it by clicking the "Find transaction ID" button and select the specific transaction ID from your PayPal transaction history.
0fdf5e8.jpg

When your PayPal transaction history pops out, make sure it captures the date from when you made the transaction, see from the sample below, my history is showing only all of my activities from January 12, 2010 to today, February 11.

93d0da7.jpg

Once you find the specific transaction, click on the Transaction ID and it will take you back to this page with the Transaction ID already in the textbox..
69fa6e3.jpg

.. all you need to do is click that yellow button saying "Continue".

And from there, you will be asked 1 or 2 more questions which you have to answer by selecting the appropriate option applicable to you, so you can finalize the dispute.

Note that this dispute does not guarantee that your money will be given back to you. PayPal will freeze your seller's account until your problem is resolved forcing them to return your money. However, if the seller decides to close the specific account, that's not gonna be good for you, you will totally loose the money that you paid but the dispute that you filed will damage his/her credit track record, because as you know, PayPal is linked to our our credit cards and/or bank accounts.

Good luck!

How do i find out where i bought an auto part about 8 months ago

Decide on the likely sources and get the price with any tax and shipping. If you use a credit card go online and review your transactions for that amount and for merchants that could have sold it to you. If the store has a loyalty program and you are in it they may be able to tell you what credits you earned when and identify the transaction. If the part is a store brand then you may be able to figure out which store sells it. I am guessing you have a warranty issue. They may help without the receipt if you can present a compelling case or high probability of having purchased it with them. it could simply fall into a customer satisfaction issue and they will help you if they like you (be nice.) If you bought it online and have not cleared your internet history then you may be able to go back in your browser's history to eight months ago and see which places you searched and find a transaction; perhaps the last place listed. Good luck... It sounds like a problem I would have, lol!

What is the Authorization Code

Definition of 'Authorization Code'
A generic term that refers to a code or password that identifies the user as authorized to purchase, sell or transfer items, or to enter information into a security-protected space. For example, an authorization code would be required for a vendor to process a credit card transaction on behalf of a customer paying for goods. icon_inv.png Investopedia explains 'Authorization Code'
Authorization codes are used for any transaction or entry that has restrictions on which users are entitled to access. For example, only certain individuals will have the authority to approve major expenses, and will probably have an authorization code in the company's records or on a case-by-case basis to complete any approval.

An authorization code is commonly attached to credit card transactions, not only to signal a merchant that the transaction is approved, but also to help identify the transaction in follow-up examinations, such as disputed transactions.

You should contact the bank that issued that account to you or use the online bank if you have that possibility and check for transactions history. A detailed information such as account owner and transaction date should be there

I need the adress where to send my transaction to a dispute i lost the email paypal sent me. credit card fraud

I did not get really your question. Do you want to dispute? if that the case go to your paypal then list all the transaction history you made. You will definitely see the transaction you want to dispute. Then just click details. Copy the transaction ID. Make sure to get only the numbers after #. Then Click resolution center. Then Click Dispute Transaction button. Then paste the transaction ID numbers on the box shown. Continue from there. Please note dispute can be only made not later than 45 days since the transaction was made.

Good luck

Welcome to FixYa!

Send and Email to Paypal using this link https://www.paypal.com/ph/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_contact-general

State your problem in the email and include the transaction number.

You have nothing to worry, it is just a program/database error. The transaction number is a proof that the payment has been entered and it's just that it is not showing on your history as you try to view it.
Check also if it affected your balance and include it in the email.
You can also reach PayPal by phone at
1-402-935-2050

(a U.S. telephone number)
4:00 AM PST to 10:00 PM PST Monday through Friday
