Question about Canon i850 InkJet Photo Printer
Manual says it printer head problem. I have disassembled the head and cleaned nuzzles with alcohol. Still 7 flashes. What to do next?
Inkjet printheads are electrical devices and subject to failure. The error report may be indicating the failure of one or more of the delicate resistive elements in the head. Unfortunately, the electrical drivers failing would probably give the same indication. BTW, alcohol isn't the best choice for cleaning clogged printheads; window cleaner dissolves ink much better.
