Question about Kodak Office Equipment & Supplies
Kodak7 and Kodak 9250 printers are not printing I have renewed ink but still no difference any ideas what could be wrong do you get replacement printer head
If you do not print weekly with a Kodak printer, the ink can dry inside the heads and they stop printing. I have had this happen to two of my Kodaks. To prevent this, if you are not using them regularly, print a test sheet weekly and you should have no problem. At this point, your best bet is to order new heads for your printers and then maintain them with weekly test prints.

you need to use the head cleaning tool in the printer properties, youll
need to keep running it untill it runs clear and it uses alot of your
ink while it does it.
youll find the cleaning option if you go to your
start/settings/printers and faxes, right click on your printer and go to printer preferences then maintinence

I had my esp3 stop printing black also. I bought new cartridges even tho' I knew the ones in the printer were at least half full. Still not printing black. I finally called Kodak support and got a tech who was the first tech from India who could speak English well. He was very helpfull but in the end he told me he would send me the printer head because that was the problem. My printer was not used for about a month and the head dried up. The tech said that printer must be used about twice a week and the best way was to print the test by using the 'Scan' and 'Copy' at the same time. There was no sense telling the tech this is a huge flaw in the printer as he must have been hearing this for a long time. After I received the new printer head it prints fine. This is an absolutely huge flaw in this printer. If they can't make a different style of head for this printer these will stop being used................. So if you have the ESP3 (I don't know about the other models) and don't use it often the head will dry up and you can't clean it (according to the tech I talked to). Kodak should send these free for the life of the machine in my opinion.

Call Kodak @1800 421 6699 and get a new printhead free of cost.....Printhead has gone bad and it is the part in which we install the ink cartridges. It takes the ink out of the cartridges and spit the ink on the papers,...Cheers and Enjoy.
