Ms-7548 mobo no post beep and screen goes black after startup

this sounds like you have picked up a virus there are a few that will do this, you will need to reformat the hard drive. or use a backup disc if you have one made to install on computer. make sure you only go into computer in safe mode and use virus software to try and remove it. this virus attacks the startup file on the hard drive, and the reg files allocation. hope this helps failing this the hard drive has wiped its self when it has not shut down properly.

Cant operate bios after reformatting the unit

If you cannot operate the BIOS, the best way is to reset the CMOS battery which require a very good technician to tear down the unit. Here are the steps:

Turn off laptop

remove cables and battery

Press and hold power button for 5 secs.

Remove screws in the edges of the laptop

Remove Hard drive, Optical Drive and Power supply fan

Press the CMOS battery (circle shaped silver coating) upwards so that it would disengage and put it back in...

Put back the Hard drive, Optical Drive and Power supply fan

Put back screws in the edges of the laptop

Put in cables and battery

Turn on laptop and the BIOS will be reset successfully...

PS3 WHEN CONSOLE SWITCHED ON IT BEEPS THEN TURNS OFF AND FLASHES RED

My guess is its going to die soon. I would back up most of your stuff on a hard drive if possible. If it gets that far. I had this happen to my 40GB PS3 about a year ago. It turned on for 5 minutes then off. Soon after that it didn't turn on. And it was making really loud fan noises.
What are the specs of your PS3 and was it making loud fan noises before? Consider buying a new PS3 slim?
A quick guess that i just thought is try doing the fan test before turning it on. Turn Off PS3 completely (switch in back) Hold eject button and Turn on switch.

NOTE: This is dangerous and can harm the PS3.

Good Luck

Hard disk file system is corrupted. what can we do?

when you are playing a game, can you save your data? can you put music, video or game demos on your hdd? have you try reformatting your hard drive? go to settings>system settings>restore ps3 systems once there u can start to reformat your hard drive. note it will erase everything you have on the system. and if u downloaded any games from the psn you can retrieve them under the download management. you just have to redownload them. before reformatting though try this method.

turn the system off from the back.
turn it back on. (it should be in standby mode now)
press the power button and keep your finger on it till it beeps three times. (its about a second apart.) and turns off.
take your finger off of the power button and press it again.
this time keep your finger on it till it beeps twice in quick succession and take your finger off.
it should tell you to connect a controller with a usb
once u do i'll give u a menu.
select option #3 and let it finish

this option will fix most minor software side problems
if this don't help u may want to reformatting your hard drive and hope u don't have to replace it. and before u do reformatt if u have any game saves u want to save u can copy those over to a usb flash card.

replacing the hard drive is easy. you just have to be careful not to strip the head of the screw thats holding it in place.

Powers up for 3 sec with the green light around the power button then restarts again. This cycle continues. I do here a small clicking sound just before it turns off. It used to do this awhile ago and out...

check your hard disk, it migt have something to do with boting up your system, the best way to that is to re-install your OS, if you cannot do that on that same unit then remove the hard drive and had it reformat with other computer then re-install OS

Cannot get external hard drive to work

- Make sure that the hard drive (HD) is properly connected to the computer.

- Try connecting it to a different computer to make sure that the HD is the problem.

- Check the Disk Management in your computer to see if the HD could still be detected. Once detected, reformat the HD and it should work again.

To check the Disk Management:

NOTE: Make sure that the external HD is connected and turned ON.

1. Right-click "My Computer" (XP) or "Computer" icon (Vista)
2. Select Manage and click on "Disk Management".
3. From the Disk Management, you will see a drive letters
4. Write down all the drive letters and then disconnect the Maxtor HD from the computer.
5. If there's a drive letter that disappears, then that is your Maxtor HD.
6. Reconnect the Maxtor HD and reformat it. You may right-click the drive letter and there's an option to format the HD.

If you're hearing a clicking sound while the HD is turned on, mostly, it's already defective.

Have a great day!

Have you run an Anti Virus scan?

Goto Task manager.
From there you can see what processes are running. Norton and Symatec will hog your resources.. End the process that is causing the problem.. careful here.. Some of the Microsoft processes are essential for operation..
After you locate the culprit..
Start>Run> msconfig>startup
Disable the program that is causing the problem and reboot..

Toshiba satellite a200 not booging, when the power switch is switched on the fan spins for 5 sec and off by itself, and no further booting. The battery charging and power supply DC jack are ok.

The problem is not with the power supply or the power adapter. The problem is the hard drive of the computer itself. The hard drive could be corrupted and needs a reformat.

You have to reformat your hard drive as soon as possible so that you could still save it. The common cause of of corruption is virus.
