The possibilities are -some one might have changed it for you. If someone got your password or hacked it then they could get on your network and change the password on the wireless router. Or did the router get reset without your knowledge(has the non-guest access changed)? If you left the default log in to the router you might want to change it also, it makes it harder even if someone gets wifi access.

How do I add a pass word to my guest account

You would need to log onto the router (open your browser and enter the URL 192.168.1.1 (most routers use this one) or 192.168.0.1 (if that don't work)). When the router login comes up, enter your userid and password, go to wireless setup, and find the guest SSID section. Here you will find the option to add a guest password.

Step 6: Enter y to confirm and continue your operation.

How do Setup a password for my router already have one password need to set a password for guest

You need to use your browser to log in to your router. Locate the guest account in the menu and set a new password. If you'd like, many routers allow you to disable guest accounts entirely. If you need specific step-by-step instructions, I need to know what brand and model router you are using, what OS your computer has, and what browser you use for accessing the internet.

Screen name on Hp 2000 says locked underneath it. Password tried too many times. Need to redo it with a new name and password

Not sure if this will work without some user's account being open, but try starting Task Manager. Press Ctrl/Alt/Delete. Press all 3 keys at the sme time. There should be a "reset password" option. But again, I don't know if you can do this unless a user is already signed in. If it doesn't work, the computer should have a "public" or "guest" account. When it wants your password, look for "change users". Click on that and select he guest, or public, or whatever it is labelled, account, and you'll be in the computer, but not in your owner's account. And if you try the task manager/change password from the guest account it may not let you do anything with your owner's account. If all else fails, call HP at 800-474-6836.

I locked myself out of my laptop at the startup menu how do i reset the password

If you've forgot your login you could try the guest account. The username is 'Guest' (without the quotes) and there is no password. If that doesn't work then you may need to use Kon-Boot. Its pretty advanced but here is a tutorial. http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/konboot-computer-prank-passwordbypass-tool/
The tutorial explains it as a prank but its a really useful program for when you forget your password.

When i turn my laptop on i have to enter my password how can i skip this

You ve not specified what Operating System you are using. There are 2 cases here. Assuming you are using Vista heres how to fix it:

i) Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Select your account -> Remove Password. Enter the current password and click OK to remove it. This way next time you wont have to enter your password.

ii) If you meant to say you want to be logged in automatically when your computer starts, after removing the password you might have to delete other accounts such as Guest account which are not in use. If your PC has multipers with seperate accounts you wont have to enter the password but you wont be logged in automatically.

Let me know if this info helped you.
