Most likely an old battery replace your battery and you will be able transmit.

Radio will not send

It is possible your Code for transmit is different than your Code for receive. Cobra makes so many models, you are not giving enough information. Also, Transmit takes a LOT of power, so even if everything is setup, if your batts are weak or old, the radio will receive, but not transmit. Also check your antenna, make sure it is tight and NEVER transmit without an antenna. Yes, all lights will work even with old batteries.

Gme tx822 will not transmit or receive

Hi Garry,

Is the radio actually working at all, is the first question I ask?

Is the battery pack fully charged?

Are there any lights or display visible on the radio when turned on?

If no is the answer to any or all of the above, then do the following.

First, fully charge battery, but leave the radio turned off during charge, this should be done overnight for about 10-15 hours.

If after that period there is still no response from the radio, check to see if battery pack needs replacement.

Once this has been done and still no joy, then your radio has terminal failure, and would need a technician to find the problem and repair it, but if the cost is to high, another radio may be the answer.

I hope this helps with your query.

One will not transmit

Need more information.
Do you know if either one:
1) turns on
2) receives (anything)
3) transmits
The site won't send a clarification request so I had to send it as a solution.

Get communication problems when sending some faxes - when sending faxes to some places it won't transmit but will transmit to other places

The problem can be either a error with your phone service or an incompatablity with your machine and the receivers.

Sometimes the problem is as simple as the receiver's machine being set to receive on more rings than your's before it goes into redial.
