Last year I got this device and after 1 & half year my device is not working & showing check gps antenna. Can u please give me a solution Javaid

Probably the gps antenna is not working due to rusty (water inside it). Check the antenna disassembling it. Third part antenna for the NT1 is not available due to proprietary connector so you must buy a (expensive) genuine new one from JVC. Sometimes it's possible repair the old one.

possibly a low or failing battery, You might want to also add an external antenna. Might i suggest the 50Db Skymaster from Marbella Australia, so change battery and check and invest in the antenna from marbella aust

GPS OFF

You will get this if the antenna is closed. Open the antenna, let it do a satellite lock and try it again.

n the system setup, under “UNITS” I set BEARING to “MAG” (magnetic). This will cause the unit to display course / bearing information in relation to the Magnetic North and match magnetic compass readings. It is not the same as True North! One has to be careful with this setting. There are a number of areas where the earth's magnetic field is locally disturbed, sometimes very significantly. Your GPS may not account for it. - again, under “UNITS” I set “METRIC”.

Poor satellite reception

the cheap way to fix it is to make an extended antenna

if you look in the back youll see a gold circle that is made to add an external antenna. now get some foil twist a small strand and push it in the back of the nuvi untill it hits the gold ring. just add some scotch tape to hold it and it should be good
