Question about HP 417068-001 Compaq Presario V3000 Keyboard
Hi i have a compaq presario V3000. The mute button above the keyboard always seems to be orange in colour(meaning it is muted) no matter how many times i press it. Help!! as i cant get audio because of that...
Windows has a nasty habit of eating its children. There will be two drivers (small software bits) that can be damaged; the keyboard driver and the sound device driver. Checking on these via the Control Panel/System/Hardware/Device manager, might be helpful. Red 'Xs' mean problems. I recommend replacing both drivers; you might check Compaq/HP's support section for updated drivers for your system and OS. If you don't know how to do this locally, holler back.
