Tore the saw down two wheeks ago got the parts for four the saw four got where the whires go on coil. And the switch stihl 021


I believe you have 2 wires apart from the ignition wire to the spark plug. The black one goes to the on/off switch and the yellow / green goes to earth and is normally attached to a screw near the ignition module - one that fits into the metal body or the engine lump.

How to replace worn rubber isolation grommet on stihl 026 chainsaw


I assume you mean one of the anti-vibration rubbers. Look inside it to see if it has a T27 star shaped screw head. If it has undo the screw. If not then it is the push fit type that literally pushes in and out of the hole.

you should be able to get the engine to fit. The 017, ms170 and ms180 are all part of the same family.

If its the auto feed style head, you need to push the two tabs in on the black feed head, the outer ring should then just pull off, exposing the bumper feed cap/spool.

Black arms in clutch dont allways come out and catch when rope pulled. Chainsaw rope pulls out without catching and turning over to start. What should i do?


Most Stihl starters that i have seen rely on the r clip securing the pulley on being a tight fit on the shaft, this creates a friction, as the pulley turns the clip trys to stay still and in turn pushes the pawls out, remove the clip and squash it close together to create a better fit on the shaft
