SOURCE: i also had a noisy compressor

if it's blowing fuese when you try to turn on the a/c, Sounds like the coil in the commpressor went out, usually means replacing the whole condensor though. Hope this helps

What steps do you take to fix a noisy refrigerator?

This depends on the noise but normally if the compressor is making a noise you need a new compressor as they are not repairable,

Did you add the correct amount of oil to the compressor? Is it overcharged? Did you evacuate all the air with a vacuum pump before charging? Was the fixed orifice replaced? If you are sure you did the install right and the oil and charge are correct you have another defective compressor

I have a compressor 5 tons, when I checked the said compressor I found out that the internal parts were noisy. Please advise what would be the possible cause of that internal parts noisiness of the...

Contaminated oil causing internal parts to wear against each other, broken motor mount inside compressor (if Hermatic), bent rod or crank. Something that will not be an easy fix, sorry. I would use it till you lose it.

I also had a noisy compressor

Your compressor draws a lot of power even when operating correctly. When failed, you can expect that fuse will blow with all that extra resistance inside.

Ac clutch going out on 93 dodge dakota

If the clutch is noisy from a bad bearing then don't drive far,if the compressor clutch pulley bearing seizes up it will freeze the pulley and the belt will burn off, and you are stuck, if you mean the anything else besides this drive it.

Air condition problem

When you say "noisy", is it a metallic grinding noise? Or, did someone overcharge the system. If the compressor IS internally noisy, replacing it is only half of the job. Anytime that comperssors fail, metallic particles get in the system, from the grinding of the compressor vanes or bearings...and need to be removed. Most of the time, they are trapped in a device called the "receiver-dryer", located next to the condenser in the front of the car. So, replace the compressor, replace the receiver-dryer, and evacuate the system. Hold a vacuum for 30 minutes, and then recharge. Not replacing the receiver dryer will damage the new compressor.

Air conditioner compressor

The corvettes have this unit in them same problems.
Noisy compressors most of the time this comes from
improper installiation. either of the compressor its self or the clutch( which could be a paint to do with or w/o the tool). The other problems I've found with the R4's is the tech overfills them with oil and lastly the tension of the belt it spins off of is either too loose or too tight. Check all of this out before going for another compressor.
