I suggest you download the latest driver from here: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/support/hd-webcam-c270?osid=1&bit=32 and then try an other software to captur the video change the viseo settings this should resolve the issue. Also kindaly tell if you are trying capture the video from the screen because in that case it might not work try making a video off-creen for video from the screen you can use a screen capturing software instead of teh web cam.
I ran into the same problem you did with my Toshiba running XP windows, I got my son who has his A certification in computers and it took him 4 hours to get it to work. I suggest you go to www.logitech.com contact customer support and the technical department.
Find out what the gateway setting are on your computer and assign an ip address based on the gateway.
For example if your gateway is 192.168.0.1 then a good ip address would be 192.168.0.XXX. xxx=available ip address to use.
Your copier does have a DHCP setting that allows the router to assign on automatically for you if the copier is connected to one but you should assign that ip address manually after using DHCP because if the power goes out, it could assign a different one than the previous assignment making the IP port assignments to print with on your computer useless without creating a new port.
