Question about Michley SS602 Mechanical Sewing Machine

Open Question

Where to get michley parts since plastic molded piece that holds bobbin molded incorrectly never able to use, no 800 # or # of any sort and email address is invalid

Molded piece that holds bobbin appears to be not molded correctly never been able to use machine they have no phone # whatsoever and their email address for support is invalid. The bobbin holder piece is supposed to have 2 little hooks that face each other, at least according to the one picture i could find and only has one and have never been able to use the machine and they have absolutely zero support from what I can find. If you have any info it would be appreciated.

I have a sewing machine model uhtj1276 i need part that i do not know what its called- metal ring with plastic piece that moves bobbin, this part is located under the bobbin on the shaft, plastic part

I'm not sure about what your explaining, If the bobbin drops into this part (plastic) it is called the bobbin carrier. If you take the carrier out and you see a metal hook going around and circles or bobbing back and forth this is called the hook. The bobbin carrier is most likely what you need. Try this web, they usually have everything: http://www.sewingpartsonline.com/instruction-book-janome-and-newhome-8000.aspx

How do I change the bobbin in a Janome sewing machine?

There is a small plastic plate where the needle goes down through the foot, remove this cover and you will see the bobbin. Remove the bobbin and refill or selecting another bobbin turn it so that when you pull the thread the bobbin turns anti-clock-wise, slip the bobbin into the black plastic casing, pulling the thread towards the small red arrow at the bottom of the casing, slip the thread between break in the silver metal sleeve pulling it to your left between the 2 pieces of metal this is where the tension on the thread is. You have now changed your bobbin. With the plastic plate still off, hold the top thread with your left hand and with your right slowly turn the wheel, this will send the needle (holding your top thread) down into the bobbin casing and will pick up the bottom thread, pull on the top thread and bring the bottom thread up through the hole in the plate. Replace the plastic plate and recommence sewing. Good luck

I released the bobbin case to get bunched up thread out now need a diagram of how it goes back together,,I have 2 loose pieces

I can only give a general answer; you did not state what make and model you have.

Generally with bobbin cases, there is a flat part somewhere, as well as the "wings." The flat part goes under the needle, and at least one of those "wings" is designed to rest against something in the bobbin basket that holds it to prevent the case from rotating during sewing.

If you cannot find your user's manual that TELLS you how it's supposed to go in, you can generally get a replacement manual that you can download--either from the manufacturer itself, or there are a number of places that will provide one either for free or for a nominal charge.

The black plastic piece the bobbin fit in is broken.

You may have a timing problem or bent needle. You will need to replace the bobbin basket if it is damaged.

How do i adjust bobbin tension on singer 4210

Open bobbin area and look at your bobbin carrier for a tiny metal screw that holds down a metal piece to the plastic carrier. Tighten the screw. Be careful though...the plastic can strip.

MY BOBBIN CASE FELL OUT TWO PIECES HOW DO I PUT IT BACK TOGETHER

I assume you actually mean the metal ring that holds the small round case that the bobbin itself sits in. There are usually two arms that swing in to hold that larger metal ring in place and then there is a plastic and metal piece that sit behind the large metal ring. fit the plastic piece that may look somewhat like a scoop next to the metal piece that usually has the post the the bobbin fits onto and has a quite sharp tooth on it. The metal ring then goes on to hold those two pieces in place and the two arms swing in to hold the metal ring into place. The bobbin or bobbin case now can be put back in. Hint on metal ring placement: they almost always have a notch that goes at the very top where the arm on the bobbin case sits in when it is in place. You may find it easiest to do this with the machine laying on its back so you don't have to have 4 hands to hold everything in place while putting everything back in.
Good luck!

Singer 9410 Bobbin

Update:  Today I took my machine in to get serviced - they replaced the metal bobbin I was using with a plastic one, that was a little less rattley inside the bobbin case, replaced the needle with a new, universal one, and changed out the thread with something a little higher quality.  They also adjusted the spring holding the bobbin case slightly, and now it seems to work fine.  I'm not sure how long it will last, but for now I'm good.
