Question about Mitsubishi WS-55819 55" Rear Projection Television
Hello - I have a Mitsubishi Projection TV and there are significant differences between the color/picture of the portion of the screen for analog viewing vs. HD viewing, causing the appearance of two 'lines' on either side of the picture when viewing an HD signal (I assume at the point where 780 viewing ends and 1080 picture starts). The main body of the picture tends to be more pinkish in color, whereas the HD portions of the picture is far clearer, withour a pink hue. It's almost like the analog display has been 'burned' into the screen, leaving lines at the edge of the analog picture (although the entire analog display looks far worse than the HD display). What is causing this difference in clarity and display? Is there any way to fix it?
EXACTLY-YOU HAVE THE USUAL "AGING" CRT PICTURE.THIS WILL ALWAYS HAPPEN WHEN YOU WATCH THE TV W/BLACK BARS ON THE SIDE,THERE IS NOTHING SHORT OF ALL 3 CRTS' REPLACEMENT TO FIX IT. JOE TV
