Question about Westinghouse SA46910A Turbo Dry Steam Iron SA46910A $75.50
I have a Westinghouse Turbo Dry steam iron model 46910a when push steam button it shoots water and steam and some times will not stop shooting water and steam. Is there a fix or do I need to buy a new steam iron? It does have a sliding lock but I am not using that when the problem is happening.

SOURCE: Westinghouse LCM-19W4
I had the same problem with my two LCM-19W4 monitors. Both failed within two months of each other. Radio Shack stocks 220uF 35V capacitors that work fine for this. You have to pay $1.49 ea though.

There is a method called a Power Scan this method allows you to search for all possible codes. Try this until you reach a code that carries all of the functions desired. If the TV mode button starts flashing rapidly during this process you have exhausted all possible codes.
1.) Hold down the clear "TV" button on the remote for four seconds, then press 500 pound ( #)
2.) Hold down the clear "TV" button on the remote for four seconds, press the big power button once.
3.) Press the channel up button once per second until the TV turns off then press pound (#).

Testimonial: "Thanks for the tip on the Power scan. I was trying the power scan described on some other webpage and it didn't seem to work. Your tip was dead on "
