SOURCE: No audio is coming through my speakers

If the receiver is actually powering up but you are getting no sound, there are few basic things to check.

Check the audio connections on the back (speakers AND inputs) to make sure they are tight at both ends and undamaged. Go into the setup screen for the DVD player and make sure the audio settings are set for PCM output and that you are using a digital or optical audio cable. Then make sure you have the correct function selected on the receiver to match the inputs. If the receiver has a speaker test function, use it to see if there is any output from the speakers. Finally, make sure the volume is turned up and the mute button is off.

Otherwise, the amplifier may be faulty

SOURCE: I have a 19" Philips TV; model 19pfl3504d/f7 and

Have you tried this?On your remote, press the menu button.Go to audio.See what options are available there.Try the different styles, cinema, sports etc.If that doesn't work, try unplugging your TV for 5 minutes.Sometimes it gets stuck and that is a common reset in digital electronics.Try these before you go buying things which may end up not working. It sounds like perhaps your TV is in surround sound mode.Sound will come out of the rears only of the TV in this situation. There is no front or center hooked up.Good luck,Greg

Onkyo TX-SR602 only puts sound out through tweeters, not midrange drivers.

Check speakers ā€ˇCrossover circuit instead of SR602 . The speakers ,midrange drivers, may be damaged. Connect a small speakers at least 4 ohms to see if any sound comes out.

High frequency noise form my 7.1 surround sound system

Is the microphone live? If so, what you're getting is called "acoustic feedback". Any room sound gets in the mic, gets amplified, comes out the speakers, and then gets picked up by the mic again. Louder and louder until you get to the maximum your system can do.

The solution is to turn it down. . . until it stops.

My wife dropped one of my harman kardon sound sticks and the top row of small speakers have dislodged how do i fix this as they dont seam to open ??

Find some adhesive such as Liquid Nails or Gorilla Epoxy and put a small amount on the speaker that has become dislodged. Make sure that the area where you put the adhesive will come in contact with the rest of the speaker tower.

Whole system is mute, power is on but theres no sound comming out even changing the audio input cable

Firstly make sure you are getting power to the speakers - there is usually a light to indicate that the speakers are turned on. If you DO get a light - then turn up the volume all the way and touch the green input jack with your fingers - that is the jack you would plug into the PC - when you touch the jack - you should hear a scratching sound come from the speakers - if u get NO sound - chances are that the speakers amplifier is blown (it is a small Integrated circuit that most electronic engineers would be able to repair)

Good luck

To make these your default speakers, you will need to do the following 1. Find the volume control icon on the bottom right portion of your screen 2. Right click the icon 3. Select change default 4. Cycle through the options until you see the logitech speakers as an option 5. Select this new option 6. Dvd player works, but no sound from any speakers

yes, company will charge you, but the best suggestion is to get repaired from the company person.
The normal problems are bad contact of speaker wires and settings of sound from the sound menu. I think you are a genius guy, so you might have checked such things, so now its better to give it to PHILIPS SERVICE CENTRE.

Logitech Speaker Help

Unfortunately, Logitech doesn't sell the wired remote controller separately. And that seems to be infamous for going out.
What worked for me (with no sound and no blue light on the remote connector) was to plug a set of earphones into the earphone port. As soon as I did that, the blue light came on and the sound was restored, even after removing the earphones. Someone else said both speakers worked properly while they had the earphones in, but not otherwise.
