Question about Magic Chef CAV2000 Top Load Washer

Occassional leaking of wash machine

On average about one out of five loads there will be a significant puddle of water on the floor, but not a flood of water. Have no idea when the leakage occurs in the cycle, because it doesn't leak on a regular basis

The water may be a result of the drain not being able to handle the flow. This can be a result of either the drain hose not being in far enough, a blockage in the drain, or even a slow draining main line in the house. (The above applies if the puddle is from the drain area.)

Washing machine leaking water from underneath

It is possible it is just a loose hose or it could mean your trmp or the tub itself is leaking. I would try going to the back of the machine and take off the bottom panel.and take off the back panel. After removal start it and observe where the leak is happening.

A liquid has leaked from under our washing machine. In some places it looks like clear water (on the floor but) however on the floor in back of the machine the liquid looks cloudy. What could this be?...

Sounds like a outlet pipe is leaking or possible pump. Cloudyness will be from it being mixed with detergent. Not always a problem for the machine but more of one for the home if it gets worse, flooded kitchen or more areas if it goes altogether. Best have a look at it now to be safe.

Fisher Paykel Ecosmart washing machine spills water.

sometimes too much detergent, or extra cleaners like oxy clean) will cause lots of foam which will cause the water level sensor to misread, or foam over the top of the drum. if this is not the problem, you will have to tilt the machine on its side and look for loose or damaged hoses. the play in the tub will not cause leaking

I have a 1.5 yr old Fisher Paykel ecosmart washing machine. During the past 2 loads there has been a notable water leak (significant puddling on the floor). I haven't witnessed the problem, but there is...

the play in the tub in normal, it sounds like you have an over sudsing issue, run an empty load with 3 cups of vinager in the tub, set the water temp to hot, cut way down on soap, if you use liquid dont even fill the cup 1/3 of the way, I know this sounds dumb but try it, I have one and this happened to me

Leaking out of the bottom

The water drainage pipe is probably tampered. You need to replace it. Take apart the washing mashine and find the drainge pipe. If it is not tampered, some pipe is loose or broken in the washine mashine. If all this is too hard, call a repair man to fix it.

My kenmore front load tumble action washer will not not spin and drain water, it also appers to be water at the bottom of the machine

If the brain senses water in the floor then the machine will shut down. You have to remove the water, and find the leak. The moister sensor keeps your home from flooding should the tub get a terrible leak from a ruptured hose etc. You mission should you decide to accept it Mr phelps is to locate said leak and eliminate it before you have nasty clothes up the kazoo. This message will self destruct in five seconds Good luck Jim. LOL

Whirlpool Ultimate Care 2 leak after wash cycle

Hello, you may have a small drip from the pump or a small drip from the hose that goes from the pump to the rear of the cabinet. To make sure you will have to run the unit with the cabinet removed. A local service tech can remove the cabinet quicklyand isolate the leak.
