SOURCE: GWL 11 washer. Water does not come in when power

Hi just read your posting. Now what water setting have you selected? Is it warm cold or hot?Does the machine stop and beep with a series of lights that come on?If there are lights that come on when it beeps, they will be in a row of 8 lights.Starting from left to right which ones are lit?Is it the 3rd and 6th or 1st and 7th --etc--?Now if you have an LCD display what error code is it showing? Please reply with additional information and I can help you rectify this fault.

SOURCE: replace fisher paykel iwl 16 mother board with gwl 11 motherboard

I cannot find your mothers IWL16 model, but I have found various similar machines that are the same phase as your GWL11 machine, the electronics in there although different are compatible, you can swap the drain pumps, there almost universal, avoid the drive shaft machine, fix the other one If you want further help, post a photo of both pcb's (the electronics) After swapping your machine will stil require programming which is simple enough

How to get to pump gwl 11

The pump is at the bottom of the machine, remove the bottom front inspection plate held in by 4 plastic screws, remove the plug from the wall and with a torch you should be able to see the belt and the pump. To test the pump remove the belt and turn by hand, if cannot do, you have a jammed pump and possibly a cooked electronics board. You can easily examine the pump.

Had the washer on express wash the error went f24 move selector to whites and seems to be working.what do you think might be the problem? Thank you Duncan

Hi
Error F-24 error code indicates that the water temperature sensor reading is out of range (below 23 degrees F or above 217 degrees F). This error appears when temperature sensor fails. It could also appear due to a failed electronic control or due to a wiring failure. Unplug the washer and remove the service panel, check the resistance of temperature sensor using a volt/ohm meter. Take out the screws at the bottom of the panel and then pull it out and down to remove it from the washer. With the panel removed, remove the wires off of the temperature sensor at the bottom front of the washer tub. Temperature sensor should give reading of about 10K ohms (10,000 ohms) of resistance (RX10 or RX1) at room temperature. If the resistance reading of sensor is fine then it is due to a wiring failure or a bad control board. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

Fisher and Paykel GWL11 Top Load Washer won't drain

Could be something in the pump. The pump is on the bottom of the tub.
It has a locking tab which you release and then twist the pump a hair and it will fall out. Warning: Have rags ready! I have the original GWL service manual and the GWL 11 supplimental manual. Let me know if you want them.

Wires hanging in ice maker area

Look underneath the 2nd row from left in the ice tray there should be a white plastic piece that pops in and out from the bottom of the ice tray. Pop it off. There should be a piece of styrofoam on top of the piece you removed. the white wire runs along the bottom of the ice tray there may be little plastic hooks to place wire along the way. The sensor should fit right where the white piece of plastic and styrofoam you removed goes. Just place it there and pop that piece back in. It really doesn't attach to anything just lays there.
