Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: how do you check/change the brushes on a freud ft3000vce?

I run these routers on a cnc mill that I made and have 3 running at once. What you need to do is take out the carbon brushes and there will be a little spring sticking out of one of the carbon brushes. I like to call this their "scam switch". Just rip off the spring that is sticking out of the carbon brush and put it back together. It will run for a long while again before the brushes wear out.

How do you connect a RCA router to a Sansung HD TV with Xfinity update

Mary, if you have internet, you will have a modem device. This device may be part of the router or it may be a separate unit. In any case, once this is determined and your internet is shared you will be able to connect your tv to your router. Your tv may be a wifi compatible set or not. Depending on which type of set you have, you will either connect a cable to the router or you will have to set up wireless. Wireless will be configured on your router. Once this is done, you can configure your tv to use the wireless connection. For more information, I will need exact make and models of your modem, router and tv. Also, google is a great source for documentation. If you decide to tackle this on your own, set up your modem, set up your router, then set up the tv. Hope this helps.

This can happen if your rooms are not on the same level. You may have to get a router booster. You can pick one up and The Source in Canada or Radio Shack in the States.

Please make sure that the router and the not placed need to any electromaganetic source or any heat source. The modem/router should be placed in well ventilated area and if possible on a wooden surface. The wireless hangs becouse the modem/router gets heated up.

Laptop says no internet connection

First you need to ensure proper connection and filtering. Make sure the source cable is plugged into the Linksys router first. Direct connections must be made to the router, meaning the cable to your main computer should come from the router, not the main source.

Next make sure that the connection is made. You should see a light on the router indicating proper internet connection. Once this is accomplished, connect your main computer and you should have access to the internet on it.

Now comes the easy but somewhat tricky part (tricky only because icons can vary a little). If you haven't already done so, run the setup disk for Linksys. It's has simple, easy-to-follow instructions to set up your network. Now for the laptop. On the blue bar at the bottom of the laptop screen there should be an icon indicating internet connection. Click on that icon to show available wireless networks. Most likely your Linksys router will show up as a secure network. When you click on that connection it will ask you for a WEP key. That key is usually a 10 digit alpha-numeric key written on the back of the router. Sometimes it's on the box the router came in. Sometimes it requests a 12 digit WEP key, in which case simply add two zeros to the front of that same key. If you set up a password for your wireless network you will need that as well.

NOTE: if you have neighbors close, you should always secure your network with a password.

You may need to shut down and restart the laptop in order for the changes to take place.

It sounds confusing, but once you start you'll find that it's actually fairly straight forward. I hope this helps. Good luck!

After installing this router a loud knocking like a drum roll occurs. The device has never been used before. This is the first time I am installing it. Help!? emilh@comcast.net

This shows the internals of the router -

As has been said, it cannot be the router.
Is it possible that the power supply is connected to the same source as your external speakers, and there is some interference?
You need to work out where the noise is coming from, then disconnect things until you have found the source of the noise.

Netgear rangemax wireless router wpn824 how do you connect it and do i need a modem?

You need a modem. Without one you can't use a router. A router transmits an existing netwrok signal wirelessly. Without a source such as a modem from a cable provider a router can't function.
