I have just put in new carb an need help to do the settings

If it is a Zama carb, the set up procedure for a new carb is on line. Only problem is that with the new carbs you might need a special tool to adjust the low and high mixture screws. To get around this you can use a dremel tool to cut a straight groove across the head of the adjuster(s) so you can then use a flat blade screw driver.

Ryobi 725r carb adjustments

Zama Carb? Turn both low and high meter screws 2 full turns counterclockwise, and idle speed control to maximum. Prime unit and start motor. Run for about ten seconds and then turn idle jet (clockwise) for maximum rpm and then lower idle rpms - readjust idle meter as necessary along with idle screw. Then gun unit at high speed and turn high screw for maximum rpm. Go from idle to max and make sure there is a smooth transition. If not play a tad with the idle mixture screw till that is achieved.

How do I rebuild a zama carb for a rob

Zama Carbs are a little tricky. there are special tools that you need to set the diaphragm arm with and the adjustment screws have a special tool. and do not use the carb cleaner in the spray can. it dose not work for cleaning the passages inside the carb. if you have the tools I can tell you how to do it.

Most carbs have a H (running) and L (idle) mixture screws on them, but the newer ones are getting away from that somehwhat and some aren't adjustable. I am including a tech guide for carb adjustment for a Zama carb. All diaghram carbs are similar.

Hi i have an lml sensation and the plug keeps

Hey June, the correct assembly. cleaning. setting, and adjustments of the carburetor are CRITICAL....Please take the carb to a qualified professional to get it cleaned and set. Ask him which screw sets the idle speed..and you can set it when you reassemble it.. (ONLY adjust the idle speed screw!!)
IF this machine has oil injection, and its been working fine.. do not adjust it...AND .. if the oil is injected into the carb (i've seen one or two bikes with this set-up)..its working fine..the fuel/air will be taken care of when the carb is fixed! Make sure your air filter is clean!!.. and a new spark plug will help!!

How to adjust a 25ccd carb identify which needle is air or idle

Depending on it age and use, it is more likely needing the check valves in the Carb replaced. Carb rebuild is more inline for problem. Depending on carb use Walbro or Zama maybe one or two mix adjustment screws unless someone has already with the setup, it is best to leave them alone.

Most mixture screws are label L, H and some L and H. L screws are idle mix, H are Full throttle mix. L and H single screws are just a full mixture setting. H are adjusted for highest Rpm and then slightly CCW for a little richer blend and adjust L for best idle and acceleration.

If rebuilding the carb and you need to replace welch plugs because you removed them or they are badly rusted you will need special tools get them out and in without damaging the aluminum carb body. Don't bother them unless necessary.

Carb Adjustment on Stihl FS %%T LA Screw

Turn both screws clockwise, until they snug down. then turn them counter clockwise 1 1/4 turn. try starting. Make gradual counter clockwise turns, up to two full turns on each. (Settings on screws should not be beyond two full turns. ) Continue different combinations between screws until it starts. If you need further assistance, feel free to ask.
