- i m not sur what unlock code i need. i have th samsung a707 "sync" mobile phone. i travel out of the country on many occasions. does anyone know the unlock code for my phone. i would like the ability to use my phone with a sim card from the country i am in. i imagie i am lookin for the sim code, but if not please give me whatever code i need, and specific instructions on how to use the unlock codes.......tx

the phone asks for a PUK if you have entered a wrong PINCODE for your sim after 3 tries. One is only allowed to enter the PUK code 5 times to unblock your simcard.

Please call your service provider and ask for the PUK code of your simcard (not your phone).

"All you have to do it type: #7465625*2877#

That will unlock the phone to use on any carrier; The problem you are faced with now is that the a707 only accepts 3G sim cards. If you are using Cingular or T Mobile just ask them they should give you one. If not, you are just out of luck as there are new firmware upgrades for the a707 at this time. I would like to go to Russia and meet my fiance's grandparents before we get married. It would be much easier to go and meet them. I called ATT and asked them what to do so I will have service there and they directed me to call Samsung. I called Samsung and they told me to call ATT and ask to speak with a supervisor because only "supervisors will have the unlock code." I called. I spoke with a supervisor. I was told to call Samsung back because "it's ridiculous to think Samsung would have that or even give it out....
Is there ANYONE who can help me out???

I don't really know what i did but my phone is asking for a PUK code, does anybody know what this is, i couldn't find it in the manuel
