Question about Lite On (ldw811s) DVD±RW Burner
I am confused. I would like to know the difference between the LG LRA 850 dvd recorder and the Lite On LVW 5005 dvd recorder. I want the DVD recorder to record vhs tapes from my vcr and Hi8 camera tapes from my camcorder. Is there anyone who can do a comparison of the 2 sets for me.
thank you. Please send reply to email@example.com
Both are just the same features just to write file from your hard drive. Maybe your point is you want the video from your VHS tapes will transfer to your hard drive. The only way to copy the video from your VHS is you need an external VHS player at the same time it will record the running video to a soft copy.
Please check this maybe this will be helpful http://www.allformp3.com/dvd-copy-software/convert-vhs-to-dvd.htm

Tips for a great answer:
have to physically unplug the leads for this cd/dvd burner then plug them back
in this should activate the found new hardware wizard or
you might have to uninstall then reinstall your DVD/CD or uninstall the
driver then reinstall for this device
Click start control panel administrive tools, computer management, device
manager scroll down cd-dvd rom drives you might see a yellow question mark
? right click you will have options to update driver, roll back driver,or select
properties general troubleshoot, select driver click to reinstall drivers
click update driver or uninstall then reinstall if this does not fix the
problem it might be a registry problem if you cant see your disk drive in
Close all open programs
Start, Run, and type regedit and press
Click on the plus signs (+) next to the following folders
is the DVD/CD-ROM Drive Class Description in the registry. Look for any of the
following names in the right hand column.
If any of the above keys shown in step
4 are listed, right-click on them and choose Delete
After deleting the keys, close the registry editor
Reboot your computer
Open My Computer and check to see if your CD or DVD drives have returned. You may also want to open Device Manager and verify that the yellow exclamation and error code on the CD or DVD drive is gone.
hope this helps
