Supply stores, lowes, home depot sell two part epoxy for fixing this. Although epoxy says for porcelain it can be used on other types of materials.

SOURCE: I dropped some tile on

They sell a white marine epoxy which may be suitable for the repair you describe. If I
needed to sand it afterward I would use 2000 grit wet dry to feather the edges. Hope this
helps. The epoxy is sold at home depot in the paint department. You could also check
with someone who does gel coat repairs on boats through your local marine dealer.

I dropped some tile on the shower base while I was tiling. It compressed and chipped the edge. No leak that I can tell but it looks bad. Can I repair this?

"double vision" caused by bad solder points on convergence chips (check before...

Before you order new convergence chips to try to fix the double vision or 3D look on your tv check the solder points for the chips. If you are able to smack the side of the tv or tap the heat sink for the chips and it corrects the problem than chances are the chips are fine butone or more of the solder points are bad. When I looked at the joints for the chips I noticed hairline cracks around the base of the joint. Re-soldering the joints for the convergence chips solved my problem.

Can i install centrino deu processor to dell inspiron 700m ?

Yes, you should be able to upgrade the CPU. The 700m uses a Pentium M CPU running at a 400MHz FSB (or Celeron M at 400MHz FSB). It is compatible with both the old 'Banias' based chip (1MB L2 cache, up to a maximum 1.7GHz) as well as the 'Dothan' based chip (2MB L2 cache, up to a maximum 2.1GHz). All new orders ship with the newer and superior Dothan based chips now (unless the Celeron is chosen), and I suggest you stick to that path when upgrading... the only advantage of the Banias based chips are lower power consumption at the low speedstep setting coming at the cost of some performance. Since these are intended to be portable semi-desktop replacements the more powerful Dothans are preferred.

Don't forget some Thermal paste when installing a new CPU or you may encounter some heat issues which can cause serious damage.

Is there a little emblem or similar in center of handle that pops out to expose a screw or allen key style screw? Also check around base of handle,(almost standing on your head) for a n allen screw head as well, or any area that looks like it might pop out .

do you hear a high pitched whir or chirping? the whir is normal. the chirping is the colorwheel not syncing with the dmd chip. this will cause that image distortion. if the colorwheel is fine, then it's the dmd chip of the chip pcb that needs reseating or replacing.
