SOURCE: remove hard drive from estudio 450

Pull off the back cover, then the metal cover that has the two wire fan plug going in to it. The hard drive is under there.

Mine was located on the driver side rail, on the drivers side of the transmission near the middle of the drivers seat. It was BOLTED to the rail and was very rusted. I think it took two hours for penetrating oil to loosen it up

This is the part you need to replace, http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/2005/dodge/ram_3500/climate_control/blower_motor_resistor.htmlit is located near the blower motor behind the glove box on the passenger side of the vehicle it will be kinda hard to see at first and it is connected with 2 screws with a wire harness connected to it...locate this, and pop it out, pop in the new one and Voila! all the settings work again! you might be able to see it from under the dashboard on the passenger side without having to remove the glove box... hope that helped you

How can i open or break my external hard drive password

Try to open it and remove teh drives one by oen and connect them into computer directly and see if you can save the data first ..than format it ..cause there is no way to change the password..If you have access into the info inside it may be a chance to locate the file with the password ..But it is a long shoot ..
My advice is to format it and never use password if you know you have these kinda problems ..
I repeat ..if you have important data ..there can be accessed directly if you connect the drives inside directly and do not use the board of the device ..basically they are still hard disks and can be seen if you connect them on sata or ide ..depending on what kinda plug they have ..Beware if it is in warranty ..opening it will make it useless ..

NB205 has HDD password. How can i remove it?

- Seems like a BIOS password issue. You need to reset the BIOS and in order to do that you need to take out the CMOS/Lithium battery out for about 5 seconds and put it back in.
- Make sure you are static free and the laptop should be turned off completely, battery and power cord unplugged before opening the bottom panel.
- Locate the CMOS battery. Most of the time it is located under the memory modules or hard drive depending on the brand and model of the laptop.
- If the CMOS battery is soldered to the motherboard and you don't have experience with soldering, i suggest you bring the laptop to someone who knows how to.
- If you do not want to remove the CMOS battery, what you can try is short circuit the jumper settings. Click here for tips on how to locate jumper settings.
Hope this helps.
