How do I fix a cellphone that won't charge at all when it is plugged in. I've tried turning it off, taking the battery out, and everything.

It could be a problem with the female usb port on your phone. Try shining a light inside where you plug it in and see if there is anything there. Here are a few phones with the female ports where you plug in your charger.
25894004-w32j5maowckw4u0pbavragxd-2-0.png Use something like a toothpick to clean out inside there. If you use something too hard, it can damage the inside of the port.

If there is nothing in there, it could be the cord. Have you tried multiple cords and cubes (wall adapters)? Here is the iPhone version, but really all that changes is the business end of the charging cord, so it still applies.
25894004-w32j5maowckw4u0pbavragxd-2-1.jpg If you have tried multiple combinations of cords and wall adapters, then it might be that the charging port on your phone is broken and needs repairing. A sign of this being the case could be the cable being able to wiggle around too much when plugged into the phone.

If these other solutions do not work, you may need to replace the female micro/mini usb port in your phone, which could be above your skill set and you may need to hire a professional, or someone who knows their way around a soldering iron.

My usb in front of the cpu have some problem

Most likely either the USB socket is defective internally, or it has broken off of the circuit board that it is soldered to internally. This usually happens from excessive use. The ports at the rear are plugged in typically once for a long period of time, but front ports get a lot of wear and tear. A repair or replacement is NOT recommended, unless you have experience working with/on electronic circuits.

A quick remedy would be to purchase a USB Extender cable. It has a Type A Male on one end and a Type A Female on the other end. The male would plug into a USB port on the rear of your computer and the female end would be available at the front. If it fails, just change out the extender. Or you could purchase a USB 4-port Expander hub and do the same thing.

Hope this helps.

Do you have any user manual for front panel usb

http://www.msi.com/product/mb/PM8M-V.html

(MSI PM8M-V H, is version 2.0 )

Hover your mouse cursor on the Download tab.
(Overview / Specification / Download / Support / etc.)

In the drop down list, click on - Manual
Under the subheading - Download, click on the blue -
M7104v1.0.zip

[ This is a Zip file. A Zip file is a file that is compressed, to send easier. The above manual is for the M7104v1.0
It will work for the version 2.0 also.

You need a program to 'Unzip' it. (Decompress)
If WinZip is not working on your computer, go to 7-Zip, and download for free.
If you need guidance in downloading, and unzipping, post back in a Comment ]

There are two USB headers on the motherboard for the Front Panel,
JUSB1 and JUSB2. (Junction USB 1 and Junction USB 2)

Looking along the bottom of the motherboard, FROM the Right going towards the Left;

JFP1 header; (Front Panel main wires)
Header with 4 pins on the Top row, and 5 pins on the Bottom row.

JFP2 header; (Dual color Power On LED, and Speaker)
Header with 4 pins on the Top row, {Speaker}, and 3 pins on the Bottom row.

JUSB2 header.

JUSB1 header.

EACH USB header will support TWO USB ports in the Front Panel.
JUSB1 supports two,
JUSB2 supports two.

For each USB header there are 5 pins across the Top, 4 pins across the Bottom.
The pins are numbered EVEN across the Top, and ODD across the Bottom.

Starting from the LEFT side going across to the RIGHT side;
on the TOP row for JUSB2 and JUSB1;
Pins 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10.

Starting from the LEFT side going across to the RIGHT side;
on the BOTTOM row for JUSB1 and JUSB2;
Pins 1, 3, 5, and 7. There is NO pin 9.

A) Pin 2 is VCC
B) Pin 4 is USB1-
C) Pin 6 is USB1+
D) Pin 8 is Ground

E) Pin 10 is USBOC

Pin 10 is N/C -> Not Connected.
It is there, and Pin 9 is not there, to key which way a connector can go on. Only ONE way.

F) Pin 1 is VCC
G) Pin 3 is USB0-
H) Pin 5 is USB0+
I) Pin 7 is Ground

There is NO pin 9.

(The USB technology used is USB 2.0)

http://pinouts.ru/Slots/USB_pinout.shtml

Let's read together,
Under - USB pinout signals;

"USB is a serial bus. It uses 4 shielded wires: two for power (+5v & GND) and two for differential data signals (labeled as D+ and D- in pinout). NRZI (Non Return to Zero Invert) encoding scheme used to send data with a sync field to synchronise the host, and receiver clocks. In USB data cable Data+ and Data- signals are transmitted on a twisted pair. No termination needed. Half-duplex differential signaling helps to combat the effects of electromagnetic noise on longer lines. Contrary to popular belief, D+ and D- operate together; they are not separate simplex connections."

See the USB examples in the link above, where it labels the contact pins?
The MALE connectors are shown on the Left side.
The FEMALE connectors are shown on the Right side.

Your USB ports will be FEMALE, on the Front Panel.
They are also the A style. USB A style. The Top example to the Right.

Just noting the following in case for some reason, the wires coming from those contact pins in the female USB connector, are not color coded correctly;

Even after you have the wires sorted out, as to which contact pins they go to, DOUBLE-check again. Do NOT just go by the color code of the wires.
Why?

You do NOT want to accidentally connect the +5 Volts (VCC), to the Ground!

Explaining further;
You connect the VCC wire, (Red), of the USB port in the Front Panel, to the Ground pin on the USB header on the motherboard.

(Which means the Ground wire of the USB port, (Black), will probably also be connected to the VCC pin, on the USB header of the motherboard)

Zzzzzzap! There goes your front USB ports. Both USB front panel headers on the motherboard, will be DONE!

Make sure!

Going on;
1) VCC or Vcc, goes back relating to Transistor technology.
Just think of it as the Positive, or power wire.
It is.
It is 5 Volts DC.

2) GND is Ground. It's a DC circuit, and you have a Positive, and a Negative, or Ground.

3) USB1-
That is -> Data-

USB0 is for one USB port in the Front Panel.
USB1 is for another USB port in the Front Panel.

[ Each USB header on the motherboard can be connected, to TWO USB ports on the Front Panel.
Therefore for the two JUSB1 and JUSB2, you can connect Four USB ports in the Front Panel ]

Data- on one USB port in the Front Panel, goes to USB0-

Data- on the other USB port in the Front Panel, goes to USB1-

4) Data+
Same thing.
Data+ on one of the USB ports in the Front Panel, goes to USB0+
Data+ on the other USB port in the Front Panel, goes to USB1+

EACH side of JUSB1 and JUSB2, will support one USB port on the Front Panel.
Two sides per JUSB1 and JUSB2 = 4 USB ports on the Front Panel.

For additional questions, or clarification to anything I have stated above, please post in a Comment.

My asus was died. the indicator didnt show the signal, how i repair that?

Hi

Almost always the problem is the USB port that you use for this device. Even careful use means pressure is put on on USB dongles, adapters and flash drives, either bending the deivice and affecting the contact of the compnernts inside and/or the same for the components and elements inside the USB port on the computer itself.

Gravity, accidental knocks and the unwitting placement of objects ontop of the USB device can bend the devive and the port, causing damage.

The best ans safest way to use USB devices, is with a short USB Male to Female extension cable. Connect the cable to the computer and alwaysv attach the USB device to the female end of the cable instead of directly to the computer and place the USB device flat on the desk or table. This means there is no downward pressure on the device or the USB port.

Hold the device up to your eyes to see if it is bent. Shake it to hear if there are any loose connections. If so, you can open it and if you have a soldering iron and some solder and some superglue, you can try to fix the damaged connection and then glue the device bacl together carefully.

If the USB port on the computer is damaged, try a different USB port.

If no solution arises from the above, buy another wireless adaptor and a USB extension cable. Both of them will only cost a few dollars.

Hope this helps.

My daughter broke one of my usb ports in the front of my asus cm1630 how do i get replacment parts can i buy a usb 2 or do i have to buy the whole setup that contains the usb ports and media card slots

USB 2.0 refers to the technology, not the connector itself.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB

Obtain another USB connector, and solder it in?
Sure, maybe. Depends on your de-soldering/soldering skills, and if the circuit board is damaged.

> Physically damaged in that the board is cracked, and circuit traces are ripped loose, (Repairable with a jumper wire, or wires), AND/OR the USB port was fried out (Short Circuit), and it fried out the entire circuit board.

Obtain another circuit board? This would be the way to go IMHO, but try to find one.
You may have luck on Ebay looking at Desktop Computers > Computers for Parts, or the actual circuit board itself, dunno.

I need an adaptor for my mouse chip to I can plug it in as there aren't enough flat ports on my computer. Where can I obtain one of these?

It sounds like you have run out of USB ports and you need to plug in the reciever side of your wireless mouse. You have 2 options, a USB female to PS2 male adapter, or a ISB "hub". The hub is easiest to find and you can use double stick tape to hold it to your desk or computer case. Runs about $10 at your nearby department store's electronics department.You may also be able to find a USB splitter cable but they are not as easy to find. The USB female to PS2 adapter would have to be ordered as it's not commonplace so stores won't stock it.

You need to remove all the screws on the front and rear of printer then, insert small screw driver into slots on the back and sides, then just lift covers off. There is not way of telling if the usb port is damaged, you just replace it. However once you open the printer you must go into the service mode after it's reassembled in order for it to power up properly, otherwise it will be dead in the water.

Does your computer have front audio ports? If so, you can just plug it in there. Otherwise you need a single male 2 dual female converter to plug into the speaker port.
