Since TV's don't shoot nails, I'm assuming your post is mis-matched somehow. Can you post again, with some more information and please specify what device you are asking about, a TV or a nail gun. Thanks.

Two nails jammed in the hitachi NR83A how do I get them out

The only way that I have been able to remove really stuck driver is to remove the head and cylinder so that you can place the body of the gun against piece of wood (this will prevent the head from cracking) with nose of gun pointing up. Then Use a broken driver blade ground narrower to allow for stuck nail to pass and strike with large brass hammer.

Hitachi roofing nailer shoots every other nail & doesn't sink the nails it shoots

i think you have two different problems , replace the feeder spring, and replace the oring on the driver piston. also make sure that the coil of nails is perfectly round if they are dropped or squeezed tool will not work right

I have a hitachi NR 83A2 framing nailer with a jammed firing pin. How do I unjam it? I have the exploded diagram. thx. andrea

by jammed I take it you mean a nail has jammed the driver? If that is the case there is really no easy to unjam it. But unplug the air hose and turn tool upside down and wearing safety glasses and gloves you can try and take a punch smaller than the nose piece and try hitting the driver to unjam nail. If it is another problem please let me know and I will try and help more.. Sometimes we used to have to remove the nose and heat and it goes on but hopefully it is not that bad

Shooting 2 nails at one time

A nailer driving two nails at a time is usually because the tip of the driver is bent causing it to catch two nails each time it comes down. On rare occasions you can remove the piston/driver and straighten it out but usually not. The driver is hardened steel and has to be perfectly straight to work properly. The part you need is Hitachi's piston, part number 884-330. Shop around the net for one as they are expensive, usually $70 to $80 plus shipping.

Hitachi NR83A2 nailer pushes next nail down

Are you using full round head nails?

The hissing indicates your O-rings are worn out and need to be replaced. This is not covered by warrenty and is common for all nail guns. Lots of kits are available on Ebay or your local Hitachi service center should stock them.

Hope this helps,

Cheers

I have been rebuilding Hitachi nalers for about 2 years now and this one has me stumped. It works fine if you single shoot it. If you hold the trigger and try to bounce shoot the nails, the driver will not...

The roofers that frequent my shop want their nailers to work like machine guns. Here is what I do to make the hitachi 45 nail fast. Remove the cylinder and sand the fine scratches where orings meet cylinder. I use a rubber slug with a small bolt through the center. The rubber slug fits snuggly into the cylinder and the bolt into chuck of drill. Turn the cylinder with the drill while holding fine sandpaper against the scratches untill smooth. remove the nose from body and replace the sheet (part # 877125) and the bumper. If the sheet fits loose on the driver and the bumper has cuts or missing pieces, the driver will not return with full force. also the oring on the piston should not be too tight. Just snug enough to hold the weight of the piston. While nose piece is off check the air passage to feed piston for trash, use a small wire and push through to make sure. Make sure the orings on the feed piston fit snug. Actually push the feed piston by hand in the nose piece to make sure the three orings fit snugly. A loose feed piston will reduce nailing speed. Finally replace the boot on the firing pin. If the boot is blown off its seat with use replace the firing pin. A loose firing pin will waste air and lower pressure reducing nailing speed. Good luck

Bostich gun problem

If the piston/driver is broken, the gun will fire however nailing will not take place because the piston will jam in the cylinder. Sometimes the cylinder will also crack when the driver goes. If the piston is not broken but stays down, then check the cylinder check valve, worn lower bumper, bent driver or cracked cylinder. 18 guage nailer has a very thin driver which will easily bend or break. Parts however are not expensive.

Won't feed nail

This happens to my gun too. You probably need to oil the gun once in a while. Here is how you fix it:
Disconnect the gun from the compressor first don't wanna get hurt or anything like that. There is a pin that shoots the nail out well that pin is jammed so what you have to do is push that pin to the original position. using a flat head screwdriver would help you to push that pin back into place. Let me know how that turns out please. I pretty sure that is the problem with your gun. Make sure you lubricate the Nailer once in a while.
