Oil drain location on cub cadet rt65

How old is it? Lots of newer small engines don't have a drain plug. You tilt it on its side and let the oil run out the oil filler hole after removing the dip stick. I put a piece of plastic shopping bag over the gas tank hole and put gas cap back on to help keep gas from coming out. Good luck.

Oh, I hate to hear that. Most likely you will have to get into the gearbox to see what is going on. It really isn't that hard but it is time consuming. Make sure you pay close attention as to how you disassemble it. Good luck and let me know if I can help further.

This is another gearbox failure and seems to be quite common. You will have to remove the gearbox from the engine, open the gearbox up and inspect. Make sure you pay attention as to how it all comes apart and maybe even take close up pictures as you go. I hope this helps you.

Trying to put on pull cord on tiller.

you remove the cover, bend three tabs and the wheel will come out. Replace the cord in the manner that it is removed, rewind spring and install wheel, then bend the tabs back down.

Changing the drive belt

remove plastic belt cover
remove the guard,belt/pulley
work in the right side first:
remove the rigth-side wheel
remove the screws of the bumper
remove 2 screws on bracket/transmission assembly
pull the bracket
install the new belt
reinstall the right side screws and wheel

do the same in the left side
Ps: remove the belt guide, and reverse return spring
