Question about KitchenAid Dishwashers
My KithenAid dishwasher is 2 years old. It has started to drip approx a tablesppon of rusty water down the inside of the door after the rinse cycle is done. It drips down the door and collects in the bottom, and because it is there when we go to empty, it has to be dripping out of the door somewhere after the rinse cycle. Any idea where it can be coming from and any suggested repairs?
Pull the screws out of the door check to see if they are rusted run the machine the outer door panel off should be easier to find the leak

when you empty you sink, some of the water is going down the drain hose of the dishwasher. take the drain hose up as far as possible in a swan neck

Check the pump, make sure it is working properly and pumping water out. If it is then check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged.

We had the same problem. It appears the door gets "tweaked" when you have a heavy load in the bottom rack or if someone mistakenly places pressure on it. Figure out which side is leaking then bend the door a little in the opposite direction. Worked for us.
