WHEN COMPUTR STARTS PRES THE F2 BUTTON , IT WILL TAKE U TO THE SYSTEM SETUP , GO TO ONBOARD DEVICES , OPEN AND GO TO FLASH CACHE MODULE AND DISABLE ( OFF ) THEN GO TO SATA OPERATION ALSO IN ONBOARD DEVICES , SET IT TO BE ON ATA NOT AHCI , THAN AND SAVE !!!! The hard drive has failed. If you're in warranty, contact Dell for a warranty replacement of the drive - it's a customer-replaceable part.
If you're out of warranty, look on ebay for a good deal on a brand new hard drive for your Dell Inspiron 1525
