a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Yes, many HTC models tend to do this. As you insert the plug a signal is generated which makes the phone think that you've pressed and briefly held the handsfree's dial button and so it takes it as a command to redial last number..
All you can do is to turn the phone off before plugging in the handsfree, or get ready to hit the call disconnect button each time you connect it with the power turned on.
Best fix is to abandon the wired version completely and use a BlueTooth handsfree instead.
In some countries (such as here in the UK) a wired handsfree falls foul of the laws regarding driving whilst using a handheld phone and the handsfree solution must be one which allows the driver to be completely physically separated from the phone and which holds the handset securely and safely away, i.e. you can't have the phone lying unrestrained, nor can it be in the driver's pocket.

Search internet for HTC unlocking websites. You will come across a thousand websites who can do this. Choose which ever you like. Do look for price comparisons and the unlocking instructions. Recheck the Model number- Network to which your phone is locked to and the IMEI number before placing an order. If you made any mistakes in these details these people will never give you a refund!! One more thing, before placing an order ask them about the conditions for getting a full refund in the case of a code failure! Think and make a wise decision. I have personally bought the code for my HTC Wildfire from unlockgenie.com. It is because they have good reviews on most of the mobile phone forums. I got my phone unlocked successfully from that website. I think their codes don't fail. The web link for the above mentioned web site is http://unlockgenie.com/
